  1. Ive un-hid mine; https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/ComicCustomSetView.aspx?s=29685
  2. Hmmm why would anyone collect books from that month
  3. In me experience Hulk Art collectors overpay especially when hes depicted as enraged. Cuuent auctions bear that out. Agreed on Thor.
  4. As mentioned by others 1970s Sal Hulk is getting its due especially the early TV show era. The 80s stuff that Sal inked has not caught up yet ROM stuff from same time has jumped. Sal's Hulk looked great with so many of his 1976-1979 inkers I can see why so desirable. Count me as one of the cadre who has squirrled away action pages. At least until they hit the 1500 level. Now i'm content with what I have and sure glad i got them when i did!
  5. 1970's Sal B Hulk has exploded. It's now approaching John B 1970's Thor level respect. Of course Hulk pages generally are in much higher demand than Thor from the era. Sal 1970's Hulk pages have been drying up for over a decade, uncommon for while to see anything decent. Looks like someone got 3 nice above average 1977-1978 Hulk pages. I do shudder to think now what a Sale Hulk Battle page vs any name brand villain would now command....
  6. 33K seems 2x more than it should be, expect another drop or 2.
  7. during the first years of this century I picked up a bunch of late 70's - mid 80's Archie covers - all by Dan DeCarlo. One of those rare instances where the book's in 9.8 might exceeded the one of a kind original cover art.
  8. From my current sig - note while both comics are newsstands the left book was only issued that way. The right has a more common direct sale doppelganger.
  9. Pages are not White, from what I've seen most here would have no interest in crappy OW/W. To some (not me) WP's take precedence over seemingly all else. Which makes perfect sense in slabbed book where the difference between OW/W and W is highly apparent and at least in a few cases can bump up if the book is sent for a sig then re-graded. @Jordysnordy knows!
  10. The Comic Market is wide and varied. Segments and sub-segments of which at any given time can be hot, cold or any variation within. In addition outliers have and will always exist. The same with exceptions. Over are the days when nearly every book regardless of the segment of the hobby is warm or hot. It may happen again of course, but its likley 2-3 decades away. What does surprise me is how many even in this thread write about the Comic Market using blanket statements as if segments do not exist.
  11. Nope and based on your response you lack in sense of humor dept. Perhaps add Dazzler 1 (1981) Newsstand to your signature.
  12. @valiantman Is it possible for me on your site to generate a list of the top All-Time 9.8's? If not Please post the data for the top 50 - thanks
  13. The right pop culture adaption while condition sensitive can be found in grade without too much searching. The left is 1 of 1 from a pre-pack and super condition sensitive adaptation of pure pop-culture cheese.
  14. Yep There were sales reported of Eternals #1 for #3k. 9.8 She-hulk #1 direct sale hit $1800 at comiclink. As I do not sell comics, I no longer pay for GPA (only did very briefly to check it out) and do not use go-collect but I'm sure some here can pull the data. While it wont show on GPA etc I was at NYCC2021 and witnessed first hand 2 different Moe Ron's who paid $2000 for Direct Sale copies of ASM 361. Was at one those tables with a black tablecloth laid down and bright portable lighting and their only stock was current hots that were way way over priced. I said to one of the folks just as he was counting his cash for purchasing the 361 and mentioned he could get it oneBay as buy-it-now for $1200 (which was still way high BTW), He told me I was wrong and that must be some other book...So perhaps the rubes deserve what they get!!!! FF48 regardless of where it was at in 2005 has been a key in one form or another for decades, not clear on how it factors into my statements or was the point that the film kick started it? I think that woudl have occurred with the first Surfer app by this time anyhow But yeah the book WAS undervalued for a long time.
