I think that is actually a common occurrence. Almost all CGC Old Label books were under graded in terms on page quality. It seems that every old label book that is cracked out and re-graded ends up coming back with better page quality.

I have some amazing Stan Lee Signature Series books from my personal collection that I have decided to offer for sale to my fellow board members! I really don't want to sell them but at this point I think there might be someone out there who will enjoy them more then me. So I figured I would post them for sale and test the waters. Both of these books were OLD Label/1st Gen CGC books when I got them(I have included pictures of them in this state). I then sent them in to be cracked out, signed by Stan, and regarded. These books have NOT been pressed. Maybe someone would be interested in sending them to CCS to be pressed and go for a grade bump. We all know how much these books would jump in value with even one bump.... Before I get started please know that I am offering FREE USPS shipping (within the continental US) (international or non-continental sales would require shipping estimate) for these book. I accept Paypal for payments. I will allow returns on raw books if you are not satisfied with the way a book was described but no returns please on CGC books (unless case is damaged).  The first wins. I will have these books posted exclusively on here for the next few days. I have two awesome books available on eBay! I have an amazing copy of House of Secrets (1971) that has been signed by Bernie Wrightson! This issue is a MEGA KEY issue as it contains the 1ST APPEARANCE OF THE SWAMP THING! I am not a professional grader but personally I think this book ranges from Good to Very Good. This book is complete and displays very well!

I also have an amazing copy of Swamp Thing #1 (1972) that has been signed by Bernie Wrightson! I am not a professional grader but personally I think this book ranges from VF to NM. This book is complete and displays very well!

Swamp Thing is very hot right now and will only grow hotter when Justice League Dark comes out! Wrightson's work is also super-hot right now and his signature has really jumped in value now that he is no longer with us.

Please study the pictures provides and grade the book yourself

I have an amazing run of Swamp Thing #2-10 NM- to VF- Range All Signed by Bernie Wrightson available! This is nearly the entire Wrightson run of Swamp Thing! Only missing issue #1! Swamp Thing is very hot right now and will only grow hotter when Justice League Dark comes out! His work is also super-hot right now! And his signature has really jumped in value now that he is no longer with us. 

Before I get started please know that I am offering FREE USPS shipping for these books.

I feel that about $67 per book is a fair value. Some of them may sell for much more such as issue #7(First Time Batman meets Swamp Thing), #9(Classic Cover), and so on.

I am asking $550 OBO for all 9 books. I am not interested in selling any book separately. I want to sell them as a complete run.

These books range in grade. I personally think they range anywhere from VF- to NM-. Some are better than others but all of them are VERY NICE. Use your judgment to grade them yourself.
