  1. Mike, I'm in complete disagreement with you, and we can discuss it over a beer one of these days, post-covid.
  2. A while back, a fellow board member posted that they are seeking a Mazzucchelli DD page. As an added bonus, the Kingpin also appears on the page. I just wanted to help out and let them know that there's one for sale in Heritage's weekly auction, ending today. I don't own the artwork, but I'm more than happy to point a fellow boardie in the right direction so here's the link to the auction along with an image of the page. Good luck! https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/david-mazzucchelli-and-danny-bulanadi-daredevil-212-story-page-4-original-art-marvel-1984-/a/122047-17594.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515
  3. Call it a premonition, but based on prices I’ve seen throughout this auction, I think I’ll also be outbid on the items that I’m interested in this afternoon, too!
  4. I don’t speculate on pricing for this book because I have a significant interest in it and I wish to remain as neutral as possible. i share facts based on previous sales, at least, those that are public sales, and then I may take the data points and drill down a bit more to share with forum members.
  5. The highest price paid for a cgc 9.8 sig series (McFarlane sig only) is $4827, according to GPA, which does seem low to me. I think it’s safe to say that there has been several private sales in the vicinity of $5.5K 9.8’s with Stan and Todd’s sigs have sold for a significant premium, with the bulk of the additional value owing to Stan’s sig. Given the number of copies Stan has signed, this surprises me. Regardless, per GPA, copies have sold for 6.2-7K this year
  6. Where have all of the 9.8’s gone? It seems as though supply vanished in less than a month!?!
  7. I think everyone was expecting a big $$$ from UXM 268, but I’d wager very few were expecting $72K for the Ghost Rider cover. I was hoping to add it to my collection, but it nearly tripled my guestimate!
  8. So there I was earlier today, feeling confident about my 4.6K bid on the asm 238 cgc 9.8 CPV on Heritage. didnt take long during the live bidding for my bid to be blown outta the water! $7.8K! That’s gotta be a new record!
  9. Yes, become increasingly difficult and pricey to obtain. Conversely, ASM 239 in cgc 9.8 is ridiculously undervalued. It’s hobby’s 1st full appearance and first battle with Spidey. The 239 deserves more respect ✊
  10. Hi, folks; Several months ago, a fellow boardie was interested in picking up some Silver Sable pages and I noticed there's a few for sale on Heritage and thought I'd help (I do not own the artwork). One ends today, the other will be listed tomorrow and will end next Monday. Luke Cage guest stars on both pages. Hope this is what you're looking for. Here's the image and link for the one ending today https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/steven-butler-and-jimmy-palmiotti-silver-sable-and-the-wild-pack-14-story-page-6-original-art-marvel-1993-/a/122046-15556.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 And here's the link for the auction listing to next weeks' page: https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/steven-butler-and-jimmy-palmiotti-silver-sable-and-the-wild-pack-14-story-page-17-original/p/122047-69009.s?ic16=ViewItem-BrowseTabs-Auction-Open-SearchResults-120115&lotPosition=1|0 And the scan...
  11. Yup, seems to be about the right time for this book, and others to start dropping in price. It’s basically the same pattern every year: November hits and people start thinking about Thanksgiving, which leads into Black Friday and the Christmas shopping season, which leads into wallet tightening because the credit card bills come due in January. so I expect a slowdown and decrease in prices from now through the end of Jan. And the books will pick up again in February, just like every year prior. 👍🏻
  12. I personally wouldn’t pay one cent more for a new stand copy versus a direct copy
  13. I’ve lost count 😂 i decided to focus only on 9.6’s and 9.8’s (although, I’d love to own a 9.9). so i’ve Also sold and traded some of my under copies. Guess I’ll have to count them 😃
  14. Congrats on the new addition! I also picked up another 9.8 this week. Looking forward to getting a lot of sigs on it over the next several months 👍🏻
  15. The uptick continues to uptick in November, with public sales of $1906, and $1950. i sold a cgc 9.8 White Pages, direct a few days ago for $2,000 locally (Toronto). It’s a fun book to own.
  16. Hi, all. still looking for a nice page or three. Please PM me if you have any for sale
  17. Thanks! Didn’t read the item description so I didn’t know it’s from Jeff ‘s collection
  18. Continuing with the 9.4’s, 11 copies sold during this two week period from $650-$975. That’s a 50% swing average price for a 9.4 during this period was $845. For 9.2’s, there were 14 sales during this period from $636-$1037, which is a 63% swing! The average price was $767.
  19. I would recommend you forego the MTU 141 and direct your funds to asm 299, before prices become completely crazy
  20. Great! I’d like to place my order of 38 copies @ $2.8K each 😂
  21. Just took a look at the GPA prices for 9.8’s, blue label, direct, white pages, and likewise for the 9.6’s over the past two weeks and noticed significant volatility. During this period, 9 copies in 9.8 sold from $4115-5750. That’s nearly a 40% swing. It should be noted that the lower and upper prices were sold within a day of each other. Average Price of the 9 copies = 4,805 in the same period, 20 copies in 9.6 sold from $1281-2125. And that’s a 66% swing! Average price of the 20 copies = $1,563 Tomorrow, i’ll look into the 9.4’s and lower.
