  8. Quite a few lots have taken substantial jumps over the past few days!
  9. Oh? So how do you know the best offer price?
  10. I’ve done it in the past, particularly with McFarlane and Keown‘s early artwork. I just wanted to study their early style and see the evolution of their work preceding their breakout runs on the Hulk. Upon owing the pieces for a short time, I sold the artwork and purchased better examples of their work.
  11. The rate by which this book is increasing in price continues to amaze me. Here’s the latest data point, from eBay : CGC 9.8 3500 - Aug 21, OW/W pages!!!...best offer accepted while this copy didn’t sell for $3.5K, I think it was pretty close!
  12. I forgot to mention Javier Saltares, especially his early Ghost Rider covers and Pages. They are beautiful and still hold up well nearly 30 later later.
  13. As recently as March, 2020, you could pick up an ASM 300 CGC 9.8 White Pages for $1600. the uptick on this book, especially over the past two months, has been, well, Amazing 😉

  15. I used to own a few from early in his run when his art resembled Ditko's style, and they were great. Definitely hard to come by, but the later Frenz ASM's, where is style changed to resemble Sal Buscema's style are a bit easier to come by.
  16. I don’t think either Bolton or McFarlane are undervalued presently, and yes, I would buy multiples
  17. Would love to see more John Bolton artwork available from Black Dragon and Classic X-Men McFarlane Spiderman. ‘Nuff said!
  18. Yup, bidding is up and running on only 399 lots this auction
  19. After 20 years of looking for high grade CGC GK Scooby Doo, all one has to do is look at the census #'s for copies in 9.0 or better and the answer reveals itself. Scooby Doo has been around for 50 years, in various mediums, enjoyed by multiple generations. Its about time this beloved animated characters' books are finally recognized.
