  1. I'm not trying to stir up drama and or at least prevent further from happening. Apparently it's already too late. I'm really sorry that I upset you.
  2. Two and a half weeks later with no response, it doesn't matter if it was a $4.99 or $499.00 comic. You're acting like I gave him no grace or mercy. All it takes is a quick message, "hey, I'm heading out of town for blah blah, just wanted to let you know in case you encounter any difficulties." Is that so hard? What if I ended up not paying for two weeks"sorry but I was on vacation". It goes both ways.
  3. An excuse doesn't excuse what happened. It was 2 and a half weeks.

  5. I'm not upset at all. I'm just taken back by his response. It doesn't matter if I spent $1.00 or $500.00 on said comic, it all boils down to his responsibility as a businessman. So he gets a hall pass for being a irresponsible seller? He said he was on vacation not that he had a death in the family.
  6. What I've learned so far with this. You can be professional and have integrity and accept the consequences for being careless or you can not accept responsibility for your carelessness and miscommunication and block a person because they made you have a consequence for it.

  8. Yes sir. After Ebay stepped in, they produced a return label for me. If it was several days, that would be a different story, but it ended up being 12 days.
  9. Huh?? I filed a claim through Ebay that was ignored. Ebay told me to send the book back and I would receive my refund once the seller received it.

The problem is, he didn't bother with all the emails from Ebay stating that the comic was already shipped back and the seller tried to save face by saying I can keep the book and here is your refund. I was patient and sincere and was just following protocol with the refund process. So this has happened before. He didn't care to let people know that he was away or that he knew he sold shoddy <insert manure reference> and used being away as an excuse to try to keep his stellar feedback rating. Plain and simple, his excuse came much too late. It's on him to cross his t's and dot his i's before he went on holiday and neglected to set his account on vacation. I appreciate everyone's opinions.

  14. Here's one of my recent transactions. I've been an Ebay member since 2006. I probably have left less than 5 negs total. I don't think I did anything wrong. Just for the record. It took you 12 days, yes, 12 days to get a response back. What kind of business are you running? 3-14 Comic received, initial question to you 3-15 Return process started "If you don't hear back from the seller or you can't work things out, you can ask us to step in and help starting on Mar 21, 2017" 3-21 Asked Ebay to assist, still nothing from you 3-26 You refunded me after I already shipped back your product. I'm not a mind reader nor Charles Xavier. If you don't communicate, we the buyers have no clue what's going on. Hi there, I hate to bother you. I just received the Low 1 in the mail and have a couple concerns. There is some damage to the corners due to the bag not being secured down with tape. The flap on the poly bag was not taped down to the back side which caused the comic book to jump around. I'm contacting you first to get your feedback on how I should proceed. Thank you.
  15. Ebay purchase reeks of cigarette smoke Today I received an ASM lot consisting of #361-364. Picked it up for under 75 shipped. The only problem is they stink of cigarettes In the auction, it wasn't disclosed that it came from a smoke free home. Now my office stinks! I already changed the bag/boards..How would you guys handle this? Return? This is my first time having to deal with something like this.
