  1. Everything considered, I feel confident that it's her. Perhaps those people disputing it, or some of them, don't want it to be her. I also don't think you need to apologize, or explain yourself, for posting any of the above. I digress. She also posed for, or had some of her shoots appear in, Man to Man, Rogue, Sir Knight, and South Sea Stories. There may be others, but I'd have to go back and look through my email threads and research from many years ago.
  2. Trina appeared in a handful of adult magazines back in the '60s. She made the front cover of the November 1961 issue of Vue.
  3. Many kudos to the author of this thread for doing all this work. It never ceases to amaze me, just how many obscure comix there were that have practically slipped through the proverbial cracks. It's heartening to see that people are working to preserve them. For those interested, there's a group on Facebook that is maintained by Dan Fogel, where people share information on such things: https://www.facebook.com/groups/110711732384797
  4. That's really nice! Skip's art was one of the reasons I was lured to the underground, many years ago, when I would sneak peaks into my father's Playboy collection. There would be the ocassional Snappy Sammy Smoot strip. I've posted scans of some rare comix that he did (Artistic and Snuk) over on Fogel's group on Facebook a while back: https://www.facebook.com/groups/110711732384797

  6. The Buffalo Rag/Dead Concert Comix (1973, Buffalo, NY). This comic was published under the auspices of the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Buffalo. It was the result of three students, Karl Kotas, Kenny Laramy and Gary Schultz, who took part in an "experimental" independent degree program that allowed them to create their own class, wherein they published it, earning three credits in the process. Being two comics in one, it is in têtê-bêche format. Dead Concert Comix, as the name implies, features a Grateful Dead-themed story. Although the students were forbidden to sell it, some copies were sold, however, others were handed out, to passersby, on campus. As such, it is quite difficult to come by today. Contributors: Karl Kotas, Kenny Laramay, Gary Schultz
  7. Drugs, the Mind, and You (1970). This is a really rare comic that was used to lure hippies into the Church of Scientology. While the cover mentions it being copyrighted to L. Ron Hubbard, I'm not sure if that's actually the case, but who knows. This was most likely produced by Narconon, a branch of Scientology that dealt with substance abuse. Contributors: Terry Hayes, Mark Jones (-script)
  8. Jacques (Jacques Boivin, 1979, Ottawa, Canada). There are two versions of this comix, one with a pink cover and one with a yellow. Boivin published 1,000 copies in total, 500 of each (pink and yellow). The yellow edition is quite rare, but, for some reason, the pink seemingly more so.
  9. Vomix #3 (Vomix Comets Ltd., 1973, Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio). This is an anthology of comix that was done by college students. The series ran through to the early '80s, with around a dozen issues. For some reason, the later issues are quite difficult to find. Contributors: Dave Barton, Carlos Cuéllar, Sam Eckhart, Dov Jacobson, Tappan King, Joe Lewis, PIP, Charles Robbins (---script), Karen Schatz, Stef, Steve Sweet, Jean Lavelle, A. Voda, Reg Wells

  13. San Francisco Ball Comics usually sell for around $25-50, give or take, sometimes more, sometimes less. At present, there's a copy of #1 on Abe for $25: https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=928034239 Krazy Krotch, and many of the other Golden Newcomics, fluctuate pretty wildly in price. Some are much tougher to find than other, but typically, $15-30 each for the more common titles. I've seen a that particular title on and off through the years, and it's a bit less common than some of the others: https://www.worthpoint.com/inventory/search?categories=&query="krazy+krotch" I'm blanking out on Sextoons. I'm thinking it's one of those Sex to Sexy-type comics, which typically don't sell for much. Basically a collection of gag cartoons in the style of Playboy, etc. Maybe $15-20 on a good day for that sort of stuff. I actually need Fast Eddie's. I missed the last two that sold on eBay via the now defunct adults only category. Send me a PM if you'd be willing to sell that one, and maybe we can work out a deal.
  14. I deal in a lot of obscure comix, and related items, so if you want to post a list of titles, I can try to help you out.

  16. It seems as though it may be a misprint, missing a color plate.
  17. Some of the entries are quite rare and scans of their covers and/or contents will be very difficult, if not impossible, to find. That being said, https://headcomix.info/wiki/start has a fine selection of cover scans, up to a certain point, even citing Kennedy's numbering system.
