  1. Paul is a smart man. One of the few who knows the difference from his "real" life and his funny book life. and who his friends are.
  2. Aggravation has a price and clearly you've reached that threshold with him. Buddy has made a business decision that YOUR business isn't worth it. I have dealt with Buddy many times with no problems whatsoever. The problem is the "collector" who buys hundreds of books hoping that the dealer undergrades some of them which he keeps and then returns the "overgraded". Never mind the old scam of trading a pile of spoon and taking a few key books with the credit. The customer is always right. The "collector" trying to twist the system to stick it to the store owner is not. I am sure that Buddy has another side to this story.
  3. We had one going on the shocked robins......
  4. One correction TiQuinn, if I may. I am a private collector. That is, until Stephen Fishler can back up his posted allegation that I am a "dealer". Fishler has been asked to list the books I've sold in 2006. Curiously, he has not. Any pattern of trading, flipping or speculating also makes you a "dealer".
  5. Same place that he has always been. Upstate N.Y. Hey BS! (how fitting) What up?
  6. L.B.s daughter attended the Comic Book show at the Holiday Inn in NYC Midtown last weekend and showed me a bunch of her fathers artwork that she recently discovered. I never realized that he did so many Classic Illustrated covers and even the hunting mag covers were beautiful. I can't wait to see more. Maybe I can convice her to show some May 7th at the next convention.
