  2. Very nice. I always wanted to know this. Smash Comics #1 the first ever comic book with a robot on the cover. I bet this book is real low on the census also @sagii
  3. If you bring some. I will buy some I also will bring some of my golden age and silver age comics for trade.
  4. I've been to SD,Vegas,Comicazee,Palm Springs, and Long Beach comic con. For sure there's a lot of buying between dealers during set up that's nothing new. Some dealers might have a better pulse on the market on certain comics than other dealers or they just roll the dice. I know dealers that go strict overstreet prices and they don't care/look on ebay or online and other dealers know that. also I think that sometimes for dealers it is not worth much to bring the really good stuff (i.e golden age ) because most of the attendees are young/younger ppl just looking more than looking to buy. I can only say for shows here in Cali/Vegas. I think now the smaller shows (1 day) (Terrys Comics) or The reef etc are much better and you have a better chance to find good stuff. as those are mostly about comics . I found some great stuff at the Reef specially in the past. great topic question
  5. Some pre-code beauties here mixed with some others. Eerie #9 my fav
  6. A top #50 Golden Age beauty I sold recently Mystic comics #1 !
  7. Hey @Robot Man The show was fun!. I saw about 15/18 comic dealers. Mostly Modern/Bronze/Silver as usual .not much vintage golden age sadly . I saw Angelo's comics, Brad (Fine Very Fine comics) Phil, Jay and few other vendors. I got 3 golden age from a dealer who just recently got a planet comics #22, crime reporter #3 and hedy and got a good deal on them. You might have a better shot for golden age/vintage comics at Long Beach comic next Friday. I will be there also.
  8. got this beauty today at Palm Springs comic con!
  9. Meow! Look what the cat dragged in. A beautiful catwoman cover Batman #65
  10. ebay win from @unlimited-power75 looking for my second copy now!
  11. The value of something is what someone is willing to pay for it. Always as a buyer look at Ebay sold prices/Overstreet and maybe GPA. Then make an estimate of what you are comfortable paying. Sellers/dealers will have a %10/%30+ cushion for asking prices on their key comics and then settle for much less. also GPA does not count Craigslist deals. cash deals, trades, cgc board sales ,convention sales etc. so Again do your homework as a buyer. Personally when a seller starts the sentence with "Last GPA was $800/$900 etc" . I run away from it because that's just ONE comic not accurate to determine the pulse on the market as a whole. in my opinion
  12. thank you @Ricksneatstuff for this spectacular beauty man!
  13. best place to look is craigslist for that. It was a Saturday morning me and at least 11 other guys showed up. Mostly 70s or newer. I got lucky because I started looking thru the deadpool/spiderman box. but yes %95 of these are from that garage sale. the other %5 percent Dr Strange book and Cap114 were ebay buys actually.
