  1. Flaunt your coveted G.A. books here. Only requirement is that the cover should be somehow associated with a classic rock song. Throw in some wit and imagination! Here are some to get started. Light my fire- Doors
  2. Thanks for the well wishes from you and several others! Really appreciate the support.
  3. Redhead shooter in red to redhead shooter in yellow
  4. trumps PM. PayPal, check or MO. Free USA shipping, add $10 for Canada, $16 overseas. No returns on third-party books. Scarce issue, just 5 on census, best copy is only 6.5. $700. SOLD via PM
  5. PRICE DROP to $60. 7-day return, buyer pays shipping.
  6. Thanks Rick. Better late than never on my becoming a boardie. And perusing the threads I got to see just how neat your stuff is!
  7. It looked so perfect from the front I didn’t look at the edges “en face”. One thing’s certain, I became helluva better grader since then!
  8. Danny Dupchek (sp?). He owned Fantasia I think in NYC. He ran ads in CBG in the late 80s and early 90s selling NM books but not revealing that they were trimmed. Many people got taken, as they didn’t realize they were bamboozled till later on. Then he disappeared.
  9. Yeah my biggest rip off was getting a JLA 1 in “NM” from him for $1200 only to find out about a year later that all three edges were completely trimmed.
  10. PayPal, check or MO. Free ship in USA. 7-Day return - buyer pays return shipping. trumps PM. Nice mint state file copy but top edge trimmed by the infamous Mr D.D. in early 1990’s. So asking about 1/3 of market value. $85. $60
  11. Yes, I fondly and regrettably remember that one! But glad it stayed in the hands of a passionate collector.
  12. One of my favorite Comic Media covers. Kudos to Mr. Heck. Love the way wine bottle in the foreground is pointing “up and at her,“ and the shadowy shroud behind her head suggests an element of intrigue with an arm holding a gun. And it fits the bill for “rare” as the only graded copy.
  13. Never got to meet the legend but won't forget his handwritten stickie thanking my past support that would sometimes accompany the C H auction mailing.
