That’s a nice set of JIMs. I recently found this thread and have enjoyed looking at all the neat books posted. I have been collecting PHM for some time, and it’s cool to see other collectors loving these books as much as (and probably more) than myself.

When I looked at this specific area on my copy of ST 135 in strong sunlight, it says “IND.” I looked at other issues I have before and after 135 and also see “IND.” on those covers. I think they placed this in a poor position on this cover (dark print in a dark cover area).

I’m hoping my assessment was too harsh, and that the grade is higher than 4.5. I was deducting for the stain (which appears to be a production flaw instead), the tear, and the color breaking crease in the right lower corner (I have a particular bias towards creasing). The book really looks nice apart from those defects, and a 5.5 to 6.0 is certainly not out of the question.

Hello everybody. I’m new to commenting on the chat boards, but find the topics very interesting to read. When I saw this topic, it reminded me of a book I bought a number of years ago, which has a baffling label. The book has a universal label, graded 7.0 with OW pages, but is also noted as Incomplete with 11th page missing, 6th page detached. After reading through this topic, I’m not sure where this book would fit in, or if the current label is in error. Any insight would be appreciated. A picture of the book with label us provided below.
