    I think it also depends on the book and the type of restoration. I was bidding on a restored JIM 1 (2.5) a couple of months ago that went for $5,500. This was way over guide. It seemed to have minimal restoration so I suspect it might get unrestored (Ct scrape) and resubmitted.
