  9. Hello everyone, kinda heartbroken about this one thought I had a solid 9.0-9.2 raw copy but dropped it last night putting it in a bag and board and cause a 1/4 tear in back cover. I don’t know how cgc will grade it now. Front cover is gorgeous. Minimal spine wear deep color and back cover was flawless until last night.
  10. woot woot!! found this thread I have some catching up to do
  11. That's super interesting. I don't know to much about the bronze age pence I feel like I never see those lol. thanks for the input. Yea agree about the pence high grade covers for example I know in Hulk 1 the highest graded pence thus far is a 7.5 to the 9.4 cent copy. I know its harder to get a high grade pence just because there are way less out there.
  12. Awesome!! I look forward to it.. I'll check out the link thanks!
  13. That's crazy!! I would agree most people state side do feel they are somewhat inferior to the cent copy, but then their people like me who feel like they should fetch more that the cent. Thanks for your input!!
  14. Jeff purchased my Avengers 4. He was lighting fast with his payment and had great communication throughout process. Worry free transaction here!!! Thanks, Dave
  15. Looks way better than a 4.5 super clean book. Correct me if I'm wrong, but typical the C stands for amateur so most like with the back it bleeds through the cover and onto the splash page. So I dont think it would be a good candidate for CCS. So the only way to remove that would be defacing the color spots on cover and removing paper with the touch entirely. The 1 would indicate very slight so i would think its only in one spot maybe two Iv'e had C-3 with just color touch and it was multiple color touches all along the spine. The grader notes did say multiple color touch spots at spine. ink bleeds through cover ect. Or something along those line,.
  16. Thanks for your input. Yeah it was always mind boggling to me. I cant remember were exactly i read that, but I guess theory is because they printed the pence copies strictly limited they cam off the press first and the few pence copies out there have fewer marvel chipping from the blades being dull and or ink on cover seems to be brighter. But again there isnt a huge number of pence copies to look at were there is gorgeous cent copies with bright color and no chipping as well. So i can see that definitely being skewed a bit.
