Bumping it up. Looking for any possible leads. Easy to work with.

Just got this framed. I remember being terrified of Freddy Krueger when I was growing up. He was basically what I envisioned the boogeyman looked like. It's crazy because now I find him absolutely hilarious
For more info on the OA:

I'm looking for the OA from page 19 of Detective Comics #606. Pencils are by Norm Breyfogle and inks by Steve Mitchell. Paying $250 for anyone that can put me in contact with the current owner or help me locate it's whereabouts. Will pay an additional $250 bonus if I can get a deal done. I would really appreciate any help or info with this search. Thank you

This isn't all that uncommon. Artists often have extra art boards lying around from other projects and will sometimes use the wrong company's boards. It's possible McFarlane didn't have enough Marvel art stock or maybe just picked the wrong one by accident. I'm guessing he had extras from drawing Invasion or maybe from his run on Detective Comics. I believe he used larger sized board for Infinity Inc, so this probably wasn't left over from that comic.
Ah, I see!! Good to know. Thanks for the info.

Any idea why Amazing spiderman on a DC comics board? I've seen it on another Amazing Siperman piece as well. I'm new to OA collecting, so I apologize if this is a silly question.

I took the 1.8 past 2k bc it looked nicer. Still lost it and I felt I was bidding over retail
I agree, the 1.8 did look nice for the grade. I guess I should have been stronger with my bid. There are 2 restored copies up on eBay but I'd really like a non-restored copy. Hopefully there will be more opportunities for a nice looking low grade copy ?

The 6.0 #11 that just sold for 4995 that hit 6900 a short time later was "weak"?
a 1.8 breaking 2k weak?
i thought both were very strong results
I thought the price action on the bats #11 was strong as well. I had my bid at $1750 for the 1.8 and thought that would be enough to take it. Can't even get my hands on a low grade copy of this .

Easy buyer to work with. Fast payment and prompt communication. Overall a smooth transaction. Would definitely work with again. Thanks Matt

Hey Nathan! Happy to have you here. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun and learning as you go along.
Question for you, though? How did you find this thread? It's not pinned to the top of the first page, where it probably should be....
Thank you for the welcome everyone. I found this thread looking through the general comics section and looking at the N00b guide. I'm active on the blowoutcards forum and they have a similar introductory system although I believe it is pinned to the top over there. Figured I'd do the same there.
