Finally received my first price variant
Just so I know how everyone around here thinks, how would you guys grade this book?
I'd say borderline VG. There is also a cover fold that can't be seen in the scan. Runs from the bottom to about half way up the cover. Right in the middle of it.

Question.
Anyone know the issue range for pence variants for Conan?
-
Thanks Darth.
I was just looking for information about Whitman variants when I stumbled across this forum. Now I have learned about all the other cool stuff to look for.
Price variants, pence variants etc.
Now I am going to go whole hog on my conan (and related) collection.
Newstand, direct, price, even foriegn issues.
It's like I'm starting all over again.
It's thanks to you guys that I am actively seeking back issues again for the first time in probably 10 years.

Hey guys.
I finaly got my first $.30 variant!
Well, I don't have it yet, but it will be here soon.
I know I probably overpaid for it, but I had the extra cash, and it was there.
Now I just have to find a $.35 variant.

I also wonder what that 12 cent marvel was that he found 14,000 copy's of .
Bet it was something like Captain America 132.
I know I got a copy from them for free. Way back when they were doing special coupons in their catalogs.
I also remember that one always being listed for cheap in their catalogs and on sale on their website.

Speaking of variants, anyone know which books were involved in this tale?

Seems to me if the plates were changed for a shipment to one location, they would be pretty rare.

I've got way too many collections going on.
Comics - off and on since around 83.
I also collect / build model kits (not cars or planes, the cool stuff like monsters, figures, and dinosaurs) http://tylisaari.com/models/aurora.htm
Conan stuff - which also happens to fit nicely with the comics.
Iron Maiden stuff, including over 500 live bootlegs so far.
Still have an old coin collection from like 20 years ago that hasn't been touched since then. Figure I will just leave it for my kids when I die.
Guess I'm just a pack-rat.

You're welcome.
Yeah, that's a smudge on the logo. It also has OW pages.
Yes, just didn't get it listed yet.
There are a whole bunch of things I need to add to that list yet. But I figured that would get me started.
