One still received 11/27 and not moved since. I’ve called CGC and they’ve said it’s signed but in the CCS queue. Very weird because I shipped another book to them same time and it’s back already that was also pressed.
they tell me I need to be patient as it takes 3-4 weeks to get pressed? I thought we paid for expedited press and grading.
been given the run around all week and it’s getting frustrated.

Mine was received on 12/13. Still sitting at Received. No movement at all. Prolly won't see any for a week or so I'd imagine with the press...
I'm with you fam

One of my books moved to 1/20 received and scheduled for grading.
The others no movement. -

Greetings all! Quick update for my books received 12-12. The one that was NOT getting pressed is marked as Finalized/Shipped today.....and it stayed a 9.8 so hooray!
Still no movement on anything for the 3 getting pressed...date is still the same 12-12, declared value hasn't changed, still says Received. Sigh.
Same for me, nice to know I am not alone ha!
We can all suffer the anxiety of waiting together. -

I saw all the videos but don't recall him specifically mishandling them. Does anyone have a link? Now I'm nervous.
Certainly not pointing towards an extreme case, but there were videos of him leaning his elbows on comics and handling a couple comics unboarded that were flopping around.
Not an issue if they weren't pressed IMO, but can potentially take a 9.8 and make it a 9.6 if already pressed.
In before grader notes on a 9.6: "Finger Prints and Slight Indents to Cover"

I thought I had read in the thread that b/c of the delay with TM gettting sick that the pressings were done prior to him arriving in Florida to sign, instead of after.
That would suck seeing how he was handling the comics during the signing...
All of my books arrived on 11/27 and are still in received with no movement and all needed presses. -
Books still in received, hoping for the move to pressing sometime today. Arrived 11/26

Did you get pressing? If so, odds are good you made the full signature cut.
Yes I did, let's hope this is the case!

Books still not moved from "In-House Signing Grading" Received and they got there and were received on 11/26/19.
Hope I get a full signature.. will be mega pissed at the price tag for a shortened version even if I got mine there before most. -
13000 books is a cool million for CGC.
Not including pressing fees and other additives. -
Yikes, nothing like a potential 5-6 month turn around.

Bump,
$150 SHIPPED takes it. Well below GPA

Have an offer for the JIM1, will sell for that by end of tomorrow unless someone can do the new price of $335 shipped.

It says by 12/9 so it should be OK. Personally, I would not cut it that close, especially around this time of the year.
I wish I didn't have to, but we got 16 inches of snow up here in CT so it delayed the delivery of my comic from Wednesday to Friday of this week
-
If the comic arrives on December 9th, is that still enough time? I am waiting for a comic to arrive, planned Friday, I am them shipping it next day to CGC... I am worried it won't get there until Monday.
Is that acceptable to still be signed? -
Closing for now. Books will go back on the shelf. PM if interested.
Todd McFarlane CGC Private Signing December 2019
in The Signature Room

The complaint stems in that I sent two books, the same day to be signed and pressed. One of my books is back already and the other still in line for CCS to press.
CGC is one of the only companies I know if that posts time frames on books and doesn't abide by them due to their ability to adjust turn times at will.
You can pay for Fast Track which is, in example, 10 business days and it states that when arrived and received. Only the next day they update their turn times to 20 business days and they tell you good luck!...Thanks for your money though, sorry about that. This happens frequently.
It's a pretty bad customer service model, but they have all the leverage.. not like we are going to hurt the value of our comics going through PGX and CBCS.
Not to mention, understandably, our books were delayed due to unforeseen circumstances by Todd. CGC should have realized this could be a burden on their customers and maybe put some enhanced focus on all of our books to help with the turn time from an already delayed event.
