  1. MLJ Comics from Brazil are very rare and were published by O Globo, Juvenil in the 1940's. O Globo is easily one of the most important publishers in Global History, you may own some of the earliest NON-US MLJ comics in Global history. Find attached here a historically important comic from O Globo. National Comics Cross over with MLJ Comics from 1942, Easily the first cross over of these two companies world-wide decades before this happened anywere else in the world. Globo did this on several occasions and these rare issues are extremely valuable. Superman Cross over with Black Hood and Roy the Wonder Boy (The first known National & MLJ Crossover known to exist Globally) You will not find these anywhere else in the world but Brazil, and once again why Brazilian comic history is so significantly important to the genre world wide.
  2. Great Cover I have a high grade from Mexico. Really like the art.
  3. The Grails I posted are truly rare and even the most important collectors in the country very few have even seen one in person. Men that have the largest collections in the country and have collected Golden Age comics for 40-70yrs. These comics are extremely valuable and I wont quote values on them, some of these there are only a few of the known to exist and they are among the most valuable comics in the world period... O Globo Juvenil No.32 Publisher O Globo Brazil 1943 The Earliest Timely & National Cross Over known to exist Globally. This issue is most likely the 1st foreign inter-company original cross over story of American heroes. Most of the hero stories in that era were WW II propaganda. That would also contribute to its intrinsic cultural and historical value!
  4. Two Great comic books and the Timely Comic is awesome and I remember when it came up on the market. This is a very strong O Globo, when you find a 1943 Timely comic in 6.0 or so you have something! O Globo artists from 1940-1945 among the best in the world, I have been pursuing this original art and our family is easily the largest owner of Brazilian Golden Age original art and this is a true white wale....
  5. Brazilian Golden Age comics are much rarer than Canadian Whites by far. They are not even close to Brazil in rarity and importance globally.
  6. Brazil is one of the earliest publishers of comics in the world, the earliest published comic in the country is Tico Tico starting in 1905. The Phantom was published in Brazil in 1936 and Superman was published in 1938 making it the earliest NON-US publishing in the entire world. Timely Comics were first published in 1940 once again among the earliest published in Global History and Captain America and Captain Marvel both were published originally in 1943. Historically important among International comic collectors and easily some of these Grails are among the rarest comics in the entire world including the US. 1) Marvel Mystery Comics No.1 (GRAIL) Published by O Globo, Brazil 1940 Easily among the rarest comics in the world and once again published in 1940. The art is Brazilian and by and unknown artist which makes it extremely important and original. In International Editions there is no equal when it comes to rarity and historical importance. We have collected vintage comics for 43yrs and International Comics for over 26yrs. Living in the country of origin for 8yrs this May and having intimate friendships with the oldest living collectors in the country. I have only seen this comic twice and the other was trimmed and altered because it was taken from a volume. Here are a few other Grails and key comics for you to view from our personal collection. Enjoy....
