Plus a TON of CGC books have "Puddling" due to the case design which will have those circular indents on back/front of books. They can also be sometimes seen in photos/ scans. Here are some cases that had them so bad I sent them back.

Also my George Perez books made it back. half of them have Newton Rings and will have to go back.. this was an error on my part. Purchased this off ebay and didn't inspect it . ( I know better , even looking at it now graded and my previous raw scan you can clearly see the outer cover doesn't line up with interior cover and lower staple has issues. )

My Terry Austin books that have already been back twice for ME arrived. 1st book has Double Cover which the 1st time they completely ignored it. The second time they called it married. this time the lead grader reevaluated it and only issue now it has a big splotch of newton rings right over the signature and Superman's face. Next was the only one that came back completely free of issues! They got 1 right! Last this one , (like the double cover above) now has a big spot of Newton Rings over the Byrne signature and Superman's Face.

with the way both of these last in house signings have gone , I have cancelled my auto renew and will not be a paid member anymore. I will not be submitting anymore until they get this chit show together.

last ! Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds #1 Retailer Incentive Edition. this one got a CGC 9.6 . it too has some small Newton Rings, the biggest issue is that CCS doesn't look like they touched this book. I actually believe it picked up a few more NCB ticks.

Millennium Edition: Crisis on Infinite Earths # 1 Chromium Edition. Came back CGC 9.8 ( very small Newton Ring spot just above lower left corner DC logo, which I can live with this one )

Millennium Edition: Crisis on Infinite Earths # 1 Chromium Edition. Came back CGC 9.6 ( also has a couple of scuffs on inner well and small Newton Ring Line )

Batman #442 Double Cover. or so I thought... ( This one was an ebay pickup less than a week before the deadline and I rushed to get it in) My mistake. Unlike the Superman #1 double cover I believe CGC 100% on this one. When I look back at my Raw pictures as well as examine the graded book in hand both front edges of 1 cover are shorter then the underlying cover as well as some issues around that bottom staple. got the Qualified 1st cover Married. (outer 9.2) interior cover 9.4 (Also has some Newton Ring streaks through Robin and up by Logo.)

Superman: Wedding Album #1 RRP Edition 202/250. as you saw above this one was originally a CGC 9.6 and after them handling it pressing and cleaning it , came back a CGC 9.6, but now with Newton Rings down the right side of the front.

Superman: Wedding Album #1 RRP Edition 227/250 Came back a CGC 9.2. Also has some really Bad Newton Rings all over the "S" on the cover. This one will probably make a trip to Joey to be fixed from CCS they didn't do a good job at pressing this one, although I am considering sending it back for them to reholder on their dime for the issues before I send it in through Joey. ( They need to keep paying for these mistake so they hopefully will fix them.)

next. Superman Wedding Album Collector's Edition DC Universe Logo got a CGC 9.8 and the Perez Label! This one also has some Newton Rings on the cover at the "S" symbol and slight line of them right at the spine.

I had to contact customer services as on the bill they charged me for all of them to have George Perez Labels, but none of the Qualified book received them. They resolved that within a matter of minutes. 1st book. DC Universe Logo Regular Cover of The Wedding of Superman that I had John Byrne sign years agao, was hoping to add George for the Yellow/Green, but I am definitely happy with the 9.8 ! this one has Newton Rings right on Superman's crotch. (Geez wait till the honeymoon!)

Update these have made it back!

considering that my Perez books have now made it back as well , I will be sending back these with Newton Rings , again, again, to get fixed. I am not going to accept this until they are correct. CGC needs to get these fixed and stop creating more work for themselves.

last. Superman #1CGC 9.0 SS/Q with John Byrne Signature on cover. Just like the double cover above, This one has bad Newton Rings over Superman's face and Byrnes signature..

Next. Superman #1 CGC 9.4 with the interior "John Byrne" & "Terry Austin" signatures.Happy with this one ! Finally they got this one right !

First. The double cover. This was sent back in for review by the "lead" grader due to the issue of them originally ignoring the double cover , then for calling it married. after this review it has come back. although this time it has Newton Rings right on the front cover over Superman's face and Austins Signature. 3 times they have had this book and they still can't get it right..

I completely agree. It is the OP that I am referring to when he posted that he thought the " Only Issue. Poly-bag removed. " was what kept this at a 9.4. Which clearly is not the case.

Where does it say that? As I said above , I believe he was getting confused by the "Key Comments"
