  1. I am not fighting that... If.... Coke a cola... Netflix... Apple.... Amazon.... There are/have been so many chances for each of us to be VERY well off. If we all knew how many times we each have had opportunities to make 1mil+++
  2. While I have seen these numbers or at least variations of them. They seem skewed. I do realize they did multiple prints of Superman #75 still with that there was so much more coverage. Shops had customers lining streets to get it. I do not remember the same fan fair for xmen 1 . Only thing I can think of was that a lot of places ran out of Sup 75 and there were a lot of instant resellers marking up $25+ for each copy. Still seems like it would be over that $3m estimate.
  3. X-force 1 should be in the conversation too. I was just thinking of sheer number printed and number of people who bought copies just based on possible future return.
  4. Well we definitely know which of those has more printed and in higher grade today.
  5. Yes, in terms of comics with clearly recorded production numbers. Xmen 1 or Superman #75..
  6. Usually about an hour after dinner but if I've had that extra cup of coffee that throws my timing off a bit.
  7. It could be possible, but what I think is more likely would be some 2 packs that had some 97 DC Universe Logo in the packs. Closest to this I have found so far is this 2 pack that has a Superman #123 2nd print although this is a direct edition it is dated April of 1997 and opposite of it is Superman #118 DCU from December 1996. still searching as you never know what may turn up.
  8. If you wanted to still post an entry into it , considering it hasn't been closed yet I would say go for it.
  9. That was the biggest WOW for me as well. Just makes me wonder what other books may still lurk out there..
  10. This right here.. I have done well with a lot of my 90's books (Sure better with older or rarer) But even outside of the monetary gains, I have kept collecting what I enjoy, as well as finding as much joy passing on some of these to others who do it because they love it. I too have had a lot of fun with the whole process.
  11. Plus I still have most of the sealed packs you see in those pictures as well as many other copies of most of those books . (If CGC will bring down TAT and QC issues a lot more would be making the trip) The Death of Superman has done quite well for me and when almost anyone talks about 90's glut era books or over printing that set seems to be referred to a LOT.
  12. If they were all 2nd print newsstands he would have done well. (Not college money, but still would have done well.)
