Yes. I do believe they will not grade Hardcovers as it could more easily break the cases. (Especially the larger ones I gave example of above) the definitely seem thinner than the other cases.

Think their current policy goes by page count.

I know . I was shocked when these first came in as I sent 4 of them to CGC a few of the cases got cracked in return and had to go back, but they got them all fixed. These things are BIG.. Like Grade the old JC Penny Christmas Catalog Big..

I would agree. Seeing the Questions for Bill Sienkiewicz and Remarque Review they posted on FB and Instagram were roughly 3-4 weeks ago, so they should be moving along to meet the 6 week TAT for the signings.

If you are referring to this one, considering the details . I would say YES.. For those who do not want to follow the link and scroll through the complaints. ( most for TAT.. as i stated above , and many have said the same in multiple threads, he became known for trying to scam and this was just another attempt.

I hear the best way to lure a Buzzetta out is to try going Phishing with their mating call..

Another reason I love these boards. There are so many attempts to "game" or "scam" and a lot of these are brought to light here as well as outing the perpetrators.

This wasn't my "friend " this was Dylan who was banned from these boards for his issues ( which were many) It wasn't just a press and clean that was speculated to be what he was trying to slide by CGC as you said and most of us know those are now considered acceptable. The person he sent the AF15'S to was another board member who has been working on a process of conservation that removes Lignin from aging paper to lighten color and has shown promise to add strength back to brittle pages. This member had no knowledge of Dylans shenanigans , nor the issues with the AF15'S until after Dylan showed up here trying to threaten CGC. During those threads other members suggested and asked who he used for pressing as maybe they popped the staples. That member, being stand up , came forward and provided all of his work and pictures . (He also has a thread on here talking about and showing pictures of the Lignin Removal and test results) Leading back to this being more than likely another of Dylan's attempt at scams. Which a lot of us believe he was trying to use this member to try to "conserve" clean and press these books , and since this is a new process, potentially exploit this as a way to bump the grades while still getting a Universal Label. Similar to his exploits of the Character Labels.

I was a little surprised to see this one get the movement. It arrived the day of the deadline. I have another that was recieved 7/6/21 that is still at "Received at CCS" as well.

Only that pricey if it gets a 9.9/10 or damage occurs. (I always insure towards max value as if you only declare $100 then if the unfortunate should occur that is all they will cut the check for. ) I definitely agree it is good to see movement.

Got these back from their round trip. Glad everything worked out and they fixed the label swap.
