Wow, that is amazing!  How did you go about describing what you wanted?

Didnt have anything super specific in mind so my request was really basic actually: "Please sketch Joker and/or Harley Quinn". Definitely wasn't expecting a Batman or a full front/back cover piece.

Beyond pleased with what came back, love Jae Lee's work!

Jae Lee signing (WITH CCS PRESSING) hit CGC "scheduled for grading" today. Received ages ago, irrelevant since it's a signing.

...I guess though it went through the pressing ultra mega fast tier, given that the signing just happened this week.

    Moved to G/E/I today.

    And Grading/Quality Control today

    01/19 - Shipped!

Was curious if anyone else that submitted to the Jae Lee signing, had any progress on their books? Or if the signing has happened yet??

Jae Lee signing happened this week according to CGC.

My full figure sketch with CCS pressing moved from "received at CCS" to "Scheduled for grading" with CGC today.

Hello! The Jae Lee signing has not yet taken place but should be happening in the next few weeks.

So has the Jae Lee signing happened?

If not, when will it be happening?

25 book slow boat prescreen modern "received" in CGC's system 12/07/21 (don't have record of delivered date) moved to G/E/I today 03/29/22.

    Nice!

Interesting that Modern Prescreen subs seem to be moving faster recently than non-Prescreen subs. I have 50 moderns with the same Received/SFG date as yours that are still SFG. My experience from 2021 was that Prescreens usually added more time to your submission, but that does not seem to be the case anymore.

And moved today 03/31/22 to shipped. Prescreen was 9.8 with 6 rejects.  I HAVE FAILED MISERABLY.

I've a Free Comic Book Day cover that a store slapped a sticker in instead of using a stamp. How much does this affect the grade?  And would it be worth trying to remove, or is the amount of damage too risky? 20220320_151329.thumb.jpg.37c3e254d5a56eaa4c293069fa200712.jpgOr does it actually provide a preferred provenance?

Store stamps or store stickers on FCBD books will get you a green Qualified label. (Unless you request a universal label, then they may/may not honor the request: If they DO honor the request then then stamp or sticker will negatively affect the grade)

This is from experience, not just speculation.  And from my experience, best case on an otherwise 9.8 (9.8 qualified) book is 9.0 as a universal with the stamp/sticker taken as "defect".

Next is speculation: I'd guess removing the sticker would result in damage or residue that would affect the grade more negatively than leaving the sticker and requesting a universal label.
