    #20 was the oldest issue I had in my childhood collection 50 years ago so it's always been special to me. I'm happy to have this copy in my current collection.

    I absolutely agree with that. It's one of those covers that needs to have justice done to it. My 4.0ish copy just wasn't cutting it for me.

    If you go up to #67 you’ll have the best run in comic book history. Oh, and don’t forget the first five annuals and the two oversized Spectacular Spider-Man issues. Spectacular #2 is a fantastic Goblin story that’s an absolute must have. Edit: Oops, I didn’t see that you already got rid of those later issues.

    Tough call. If you feel it’s 300 well spent, keep it. If not, return it. You could also ask for a partial refund based on the issues that weren’t mentioned in the description.

    I love early DDs! The Romita issues 12-19 are absolutely beautiful.

    I'm at 1.8 - 2.0 but that would be plenty good enough for me.

    The pen marks denote a store receipt date so I don’t think that would affect the grade. At least I hope it wouldn’t.
