    just got these in the mail today, all books were bought RAW from the FS threads. none of the books were pressed: this was suppose to be for CGC SS, but i guess CGC dropped the ball. advertised as 9.2 advertised as 9.2 and for the last one, advertised as 8.0

    Ok, I have to ask, did one of us 227 freaks step up and nab this one? I doubt anyone here would spend almost $300 on a F/VF copy w/ C/OW pages. actually looks like a 8.5, but yes, the pages are cream to OW for a bronze age book.

    The seller notes there there is tape on centerfold and on spine which is a pretty big red flag. No book in 9.2 or 9.4 from 1970 should have tape holding it together. I'm a little surprised that the book has been bid up so high. It is miswrapped to boot. At least the seller disclosed the tape. true dat! (thumbs u
