i single box, but i also use hella bubble wrap and cardboard. and i'm not a heavy taping seller, where the book is heavily taped inside the bubble wrap. never had a single complaint.

the corners aren't sharp enough. but NM- 9.2 for sure.

Wow! maybe the CGC 9.0 on eBay might go over $600.

That is a sharp copy. I wouldn't worry about the price if it is staying in your collection. This book will always be in demand as the cover is one of the best.

foolkiller and i both agree that structurally it's a NM 9.4, but slight foxing brought it down to a CGC 9.2.

i'm gonna dump my CGC 9.2 after this auction.

not on GPA. but the last CGC 9.2 sold for $950 to a board member off eBay. the book is supahot.

Although, I still think I paid too much for that book. I just got freaked out because I wanted the 9.4 that was offered up in the Clink auction and it went for something like $1400.

9.0 #227 currently on eBay, $365 with 6 days to go. Not a bad looking copy.

now at $444. maybe my $575 prediction is a bit too low.

 

The only mistake I made was the assumption that you would take into account that the shipping cost would be include in the refund because as I said, the slab isn't getting to cgc for free.

This is totally inappropriate. For someone that has been on the boards as long as you have, you should know bettter. Etanick just warned others that you single boxed his order and it got cracked. Double boxing does make a difference, believe it or not.

i've never doubled boxed before and never had a single cracked slabbed sent to the buyers.

Books will not be cheap and priced aggressively. Not GPA either, since i don't have a subby.

my AV 1 CGC 3.5 OW sold for $900, but after eBay and PP fees, i pocketed $800 on a $725 purchase.

the one that sparklecitycomics just sold was for like $1297 and it had CR/OW pages. but i do realize that it was sparklecitycomics a la showcase auctions.

i sold my AV 1 too soon back in september, maybe it's time for me to sell my adams batman now.
