They told me to write "ME" on any such reholder submissions for mechanical error and it would be expedited. 🤷‍♂️

Good to know, and I guess it can't hurt, but wouldn't they see the invoice which should say "mechanical" on it?

I called today and the guy on the phone said reholders are currently at 20 business days, so mine somehow slipped through the cracks.  They were able to find my submission and push it through though, and it looks like it shipped out a few hours ago.

    Hopefully no rings this time!

No they don't, they've made improvements to the case that eliminate rings anyway

I just got a few books back that i purchased on Ebay, both graded after the supposed "fix," and both have rings.  This was even after I scanned every square inch of the listing pictures to look for them, grrrr.  There are also a few ASM 300's that sold in the past week that have them if you check the sold listings.

  4. I recently sent some of my favorite books in to get reholdered because they were in the older case.  Well, today they arrived, and they all have really bad Newton Ring effect.  I've read the most-current Newton Ring thread and someone pointed out requesting the deeper well case will solve the issue.  Can anybody confirm that this works?  My only concern is that the book would rattle around inside the case since the well would be deeper.

  5. Mine worked on comics this morning.  On every listing I clicked on, there was a special savings box below the price of the book that reflected the code.  I ended up adding multiple books to my cart, then at checkout used the code and that was it.
