    Don't use auto bid. The suspect shill also risks losing the sale for the seller or his selling account. If the winner was a shill you'd see it relisted. That's the only tell. I've thought this through. Another way is to see pattern bidding from the same accounts on PayPal/ebay end though doubtful anyone would have the energy to pursue this type of claim. There's nothing preventing a friend or family members account facilitating this. Honestly, that books seen better days.

    Does CGC honor other grading Co.'s for reslab Crazy question. If I wanted to reencapsulate would CGC honor the Yellow of another grader? Also, does a cover wash add or decrease value?

    I tend to not even notice. I'm more interested in quality, communication and shipping time. I think an ebay profile name has more remembrance.

    Thanks for shedding a bit of light on the facilitator process. I definitely should be looking into this since time is a big issue and even though my location is a large metro there is squat for con scheduling for the rest of the year. I've found one I think, but don't see any active listing of sorts here yet.

    Hiring broker/witness sigs of your books question Can someone please explain the process a bit in detail on hiring a witness through CGC to sign your books for SS status when you are on the other side of the country. Pricing, trust and other details come into mind. Appreciate it some insight on this without the sarcastic posts please.

    I'd be willing to bid on this for sure. There's grading companies that would verify the sig and label it accordingly so. It just won't be the full fledged witnessed sig. To be fair I'd bid on this.

    called this am and they said the card doesn't get charged immediately and if you do have credit it is applied later when charged. Does not apply on shipping.

    I think from the seller's standpoint it is just better to take it as a grain of salt and let it go. As long as no money or items have been exchange it would be beneficial to avoid any relationship with this buyer - place him/her on the ignore bid/buyer list. Sometimes life does happen, but I'd be more content knowing that there wasn't an exchange and I didn't have to deal with anymore bs. You gotta keep things in perspective, there are more sales down the road and the legitimate ones made today - you take care of and at the same time keep progressing to more down the road. Still this list of those to avoid is beneficial I can see.
