  1. Great job Tim! Thank you Brain! Super fun day all around. The serial number on that Ms. Marvel 1 9.8 looks familiar,
  2. I'd say at this point it's usually 90-95% of the dealers in the room that can take cards.
  3. Alan Bahr of Heroes is bringing some good stuff including a couple of Phantom Lady issues (#18 and #19) and a Venus #18. Bunky is bringing 8 long of good heavily discounted stuff, 4 CGC boxes great stuff, and 2 boxes full of Gary Arlington EC's. Harv has an ASM 1... I have a lot of new stuff that has been untouched since 1988 so fresh to market.
  4. I think we've got ten board members selling at this show minimum. CW, Harv, Edger, Bunky, me and Tim, Silverweb, CW, Jbud and Jeff Li. Plus the Brain playing Idris Elba at the parking lot and Pov walking around with his guide to resto and precode horror checklist. Generally multiple Overstreet advisors on hand too.
  5. That's a good list, for sure! Kind of amazed that Bob Overstreet doesn't make the OP's top four!
  6. Sold one at Wondercon and will have another at the Berkeley con in three weeks.
  7. Super cool thread and Popular Comics #4 from May, 1936 is even earlier.
  8. Would be great if you can make it. Lots of business gets done, connections get made, and lots of laughs and great convos.
  9. Our quarterly show returns August 4th, 11 am to 5 pm on the edge of downtown Berkeley. Hidden parking lot just two blocks away, BART accessible, and only $5 to get in. Your chance to meet a bunch of board members and see old friends. This is one of our nicest, most varied dealer lineups yet. We pack the room with comics. www.berkeleycomiccon.com https://www.facebook.com/Berkeley-Comic-Con-153498081743352 Vendor list coming very soon!
  10. I have a lot of nostalgia for this location, going back to 1989 when I was a college student and had a booth at Wondercon III, taking the bus from my dorm back and forth each day, besides load in and out.
  11. Btw, Comic Collector Shop is still in business too!
  12. Actually, I was just going to mention that I saw his name in an old TBG from 1972!
  13. I may see him again in October or November and if I do, I'll mention this!
