  1. Not even a dollar bin purchase - buried in a "lucky dip long box" that cost 20p a comic - as was Cheval Noir #1.
  2. Depends on the USA part of the process. Usually have them back in a couple of months. I often use their pressing service though, which takes some time.
  3. Use them all the time - 100's of comics submitted. I drop the comics off at the London office and pick them up when they are done. The team there are fantastic and when there are glitches they've been resolved quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.
  4. These complete my 1-700 ASM run. With a dozen of 1-20 being pence copies.
  5. Thanks!! I was pleased with it. Looks better in real life than in the pics. I think more will surface, but tough to get with the tattoos, for sure.
  6. Will let you know how grading on mine goes. It's with CCS now. Never easy to predict these UK comics. I got a Captain Britain back as a 9.8. I was very surprised. But paper quality is so different to the standard. Good luck and I hope you get a great price!
  7. Saw that. Less than 50% of the HA price. Good luck with the 9.0 sale. That is a very, very rare comic at that grade.
  8. Good luck!!!! A CGC 6.5 went for $4,600 in a ComicLink auction yesterday
  9. That's a beauty. Dropping mine off at CGC this Thursday. Its a nice copy, but the grade is anyones guess......
  10. Hi I've found it easiest to actually take the comics down to the London office. You'll need to contact them and arrange an appointment. You will need to complete a UK form prior to submitting the comics and you'll need to do that on the UK website (www.cgccomics.uk). There is a category for magazines and you'll need to estimate the value of the comic/magazine. You can send them in by post, but I prefer to hand them over then I know at least that part of the process has gone smoothly. They check what you are leaving them against the form you've submitted (take a copy with you) and you get a signed receipt. Really simple and nice people to deal with. I'm actually dropping my Prog 2 off for grading with them this Thursday! Good luck
  11. May the Fourth be with you A New Hope
