hi guys i have been collecting comics for almost 13 years now and not once have i ever dared to spend $1000 on a single book, i mean sure i could've many times but i chose not too, im not saying i have not bought expensive books, but i always try to stay arounf a mid grade lower grade average so i can still aford keys just lower grade, but its time i am ready to spend it. i have about $1050, i am a big ASM fan and am almost done with my issues 2 through 50 run but i really just want to know what books are worth an investment and if anyone has any books they want to PM that good too. i have done lots of research and my freind offered to sell his incomplete (missing last page) .5 copy of JIM 83, i am also a big joker fan but i cant find a tec 71 in my price range i have found pages from batman 1 which ahve awesome panels of the joker in it which are about $400 each, but once again buying these pages would technically mean i did not make a big $1000 purchase does anyone know what i should get... LMK, also i know it should be something i like but honestly i dont have a favriote hero, though i would say give me spidey and batman books which would be cool to get, also not looking for anything high grade maybe mid to low grade, thanks

What comic to you is worth your entire collection?
Aliens replied to creaturefan95's topic in Comics General
I have calculated that in the last and if I sold every comic I have I would be able to afford a amazing fantasy 15 3.5, I'd probably not do this though. and If I did do it I would not do this with it... i know that picture is totally unrelated, but come on Stan! And by Stan I mean max and the other people who put a 95 year old man to sign thousand stars of books a day. -
i am looking for a Detective comic pre- robin issue it can be restores, incomplete, and coverless, but must have most of the batman story, i mainly would prefer to make trade i have some Marvel silver age keys and some GA issues, thanks

What comic should I get signed by Stan Lee?
Aliens replied to xXLordSidiousXx's topic in Comics General
Ya I agree he is known for running books with his bulky siganture that sig is nice man a decent spot and beautiful sig how didn't you get hcancel m to sign so nice I have met him twice and here's the difference in getting Stan to sign during a open signing and a private signing -
I agree get Stan to sign something he worked on even if it is a later issue like ASM 100, which is a cool cover, Stan wrote it, and it is not that expensive for a nice grade just be careful with the silver sharpie I know that is the one color that he signs really and with presanally go will a key silver age though I feel you have one like this one I got
