    I splurged and grabbed a batch of pulps over the weekend. Like in comics, I’m worried I’m rapidly being priced out of the market. I figured I should suck it up and grab what I can now. (I bought 2 copies of Horror Stories Oct-Nov ‘36, I love the cover and I don’t see it come available too often.)

    It seems that the tide has definitely shifted. Was following auctions on eBay of a few Dime Mystery, Horror Story/Terror Tales. They were all going for well over $1000 each. A couple over $2000……. In VG to Fine+ condition. Yikes

    Picked up January and April 1926 from AbeBooks. I’m now 5 issues short of the full run. The quest continues!

    So, what books would many of you want to have graded and slabbed? I’m not terribly excited about encapsulating many of my pulps, but maybe a few of my higher end books. Is anyone seriously considering encapsulating an entire collection? Can you imagine the storage space for a run of Weird Tales or Amazing Stories? 😂
