  1. Any reason why they were buying copies back? Huh?
  2. If they couldn't get the solicit right for which cover goes on which issue, what makes you guys think they are right about the 400 chases being for this issue, this cover? Or even that the 400 is the right number?
  3. I don't know, but the WD homage is on the #223 cover. I don't get it. Wasn't the TWD cover #222? What happened? You mean I ordered a bunch of that crappy cover that is supposed to look like ASM 316? WTF happened here?
  4. i think most of us have. i did, and enjoyed it very much. i for one, didn't see the end coming Really? I thought that was really obvious. Not that it lessened my enjoyment of the book. This was probably the best first issue I've read since Morning Glories #1. It felt kind of like a super-natural Sweet Tooth with tighter art.
  5. The first page was awesome. The last page was awesome. The stuff with The Will was awesome. Awesome issue!
  6. He made it sound like he plans to go alot longer than either Ex Machina or Y. I may drop the singles at some point, but I'll definitely get the collections. I dropped Y in the 20s, but the HCs remain among my favorites.
  7. Thanks for the link. Another death is a bit of a bummer.
  8. I doubt it. There will probably be at least one variant. Two or three (like Invincible Returns #1) wouldn't surprise me. Personally, in terms of the story for Invincible 100, I'm hoping Kirkman goes the opposite way that he did from TWD 100. How about an engagement or something happy as a celebration?
  9. That looks sooooo stupid. That series will never make it. And B&W? WTF!! Epic fail.
  10. 4 of those are in my top 5 favorites. You are missing Scalped. (thumbs u
  11. So are there any hot books or is being an asseclowne the new hotness?
  12. Interesting. I wonder why. Really? Look at that cover! I'm hanging on to extras of this, 871 and 873. Fantastic books from a fantastic run.
  13. Dude, just sell the book for whatever price you want. It's your book. I remember several times when peeps PMd me about killing the market on a rare book for just showing multiple copies on a thread. F them. Your're the owner of the book you own and paid for...no one else. Werd. Do what you want and F them. They are asking you to manipulate the market, but the free choices that you make are a part of the market.

  15. Word. I have a few copies that I'm fine with hanging on to forever because it's awesome.
  16. Because there are 30K plus of them out there.
  17. How do you teabag a comic? And why? I save teabags for the .
  18. Anyone know they print run on the 94 Image Expo Variants? Not the B&W, but the color one? Ebay sellers all say 500, but it seems like a lot more.
  19. TWD and ToT are two totally different Genres and appeals to different groups. The WD has been out longer building a larger fan base but this doesn't mean ToT doesn't have the potential for the same success. ToT has a similar feel to Dexter for example and could tap into it's fan base. ....... which is much, much smaller than the TWD fan base. The thief / noir genre isn't going to appeal to 10M plus people regularly on the TV screen.
  20. The first two issues are much better than I thought they would be, but let's face it, the story premises doesn't have the potential of TWD at all.
  21. In time maybe, but the feeling I get is that there are many 50 seconds out there and not many 33 seconds.
  22. Is this the Dynamic Forces book? If so, yes, you should be able to get $300 for it no problem. I'm still kicking myself in the for not buying a copy I saw. Whoops. I must've smoked something today. I thought I saw #25 not #50. No, there is no DF #50.

  24. I think you would be able to find this one for $90 or so. $150 seems excessive. 1st prints can be found for $20-30 on ebay. a 2nd print shouldn't run more than $10-15 Yeah, they shouldn't be, but it's one of the books that is never in over-abundance on ebay. Even when the first print was only a cover price book, I always sold second prints for $25 with no prob because my copies were the only ones out there. If people want them, they pay. The first print is plentiful. The blue cover, second print, not so much. With that being said, you can still get them for $30 on ebay. The last copy I sold, I moved for about $65.
