  1. Wait a minute... Did you guys know that we can do this...?
  2. Good question. I think they'll be less-attended, overall, because I think only the die-hards will be chomping at the bit to go. I think the 'buzz' about them will be bigger, though, because the die-hards will be extra excited.
  3. Double cover? Double price! Personally, if I had such a product, I'd start an auction at FMV. I imagine that it'd only go up from there (assuming there's an audience for the issue + double cover). It's tough for me to gauge values for a niche like this. Being GA, plus a title I'm not familiar with, and a double-cover.
  4. If you take a gander at CGC's vague grading scale: VG/FN 5.0: "An average collectible with several moderate defects." So, "moderate creasing" sounds to me like multiple moderate creases, and that would make sense for the grade given. When comparing its notes to the 4.5's, you have to consider the amount and severity of defects. It seems to me that the 5.0's creasing is more severe and/or more present than the 4.5's. Of course, I will never know with out any visual references.
  5. It's not a witnessed signature. CBCS' yellow label is distributed for both witnessed and "verified" sigs nowadays. So, if resubmitted to CGC, they'd (likely) get a Qualified label. It really depends on your intentions for grading. Selling: Does CGC Qualified get more money than CBCS Verified? For personal collection: What do you want more, the current CBCS grade, or a potentially higher grade from CGC?
  6. That wouldn't be farfetched. He fits the mold for an Ant-Man villain.
  7. Gettin' paid, gettin' trades: Superman: The Golden Age Vol. 5 Batman: The Golden Age Vol. 6 Green Lantern: The Silver Age Vol. 4 Swamp Thing: The Bronze Age Vol. 2 May be more to come later...
  8. I've seen 'clearly opened' cardstock comic books get 9.8s before. It depends on the severity.
  9. Tyrone's just an excited Snyder fanboy. It's tough to contain such excitement after years of haters incorrectly telling you, "it doesn't exist", "it's never going to happen", etc.
