  1. You're arguing semantics? Scene, moment, same thing. The Sanctuary II guns pointing upwards are nothing special lol. You must've went to MJR or something. No one cared about that scene any of the times I've seen it. Destroying Sanctuary II was cool, but again nothing special. Scarlet Witch could've done it if she wasn't already trying to kill Thanos. AKA "assist" and not "goal". Captain Marvel had 0 of the consensus best scenes in the movie. Visual or otherwise. And this was good for the movie and MCU fans.
  2. I agree that it was "cool", but to call such an early and expected scene a "big moment" is vastly overrating it IMO. It was non-impactful for me and I don't see any angel metaphor. Angels "come from the Heavens". Not laterally from space. You said: "Carol Danvers also has three of the big cinematic moments of the movie when she arrives to save Tony and Nebula like a space angel, when she arrives on Earth like a comet from heaven at the heroes’ darkest hour, and when she blasts through the Sanctuary 2 like a missile from hell." Arriving on Earth again to destroy Sanctuary II is 1 scene. You can't claim it as 2...
  3. Replaced my desktop at work, that had the Original 6 Avengers, with a King of the Monsters one. Has Rodan, Gidhorah, Godzilla, and Mothra. After The Rise of Skywalker, in 2020, I may have to switch my desktop from upcoming movies to something else. Edit: Basically this one:
  4. I still haven't started this show yet. Is it on Netflix or Hulu?
  5. TBH, while I'm not a Sonic gamer by any means, I think the "artistic vision" shown in the trailer was thought-up very poorly... If you're gonna be cartoon-y, just be cartoon-y. Not everything needs to be "realistic". The character of Sonic the Hedgehog just isn't realistic anyways.
  6. Part of my opinion on the trade is that I would personally stay away from any Modern that doesn't have White Page PQ (which the X-Men doesn't).
  7. "Inspired the ragtag Avengers". Nope. They were already "inspired". All they needed was the intel that Nebula had. Who almost killed Thanos? Oh, that's right, Scarlet Witch. Not Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel didn't save the universe at all. Only Tony Stark was capable of doing so. Carol Danvers has literally 1 "big cinematic moment". And that's crashing into Sanctuary II. The 2 "arrivals" in the first 15 minutes of the movie are neither "big" nor "cinematic moments". Very droll. Captain Marvel isn't stronger than Thor, Hulk, Scarlet Witch, or even the simple human Tony Stark (who saved the universe). Not even close to being "strongest Avenger". She isn't even an Avenger.
  8. As we saw in Endgame, Captain Marvel is a sidekick. Wong has more leadership charisma. The Russo Bros. didn't want a one-dimensional poorly-acted character to slow down the story. She got what she deserved (minimum screen time) and we got what we deserve (a great finale).
  9. Personally, I would keep the Strange Adventures #205.
  10. "Makes everything easier. Even killing." That's why she thinks she's a monster. Some people (not you) are incapable of understanding certain nuances in dialogue...
  11. You're starting to blur your own personality with your imitation...
  12. Is BCS the guy who had a Shatner-signed Trek comic on eBay for $1,000,000? Trek? $$$$$? The roads are intersecting...
  13. 1. Brie Larson just can't act the part. "You got something for me Peter Parker?" She doesn't move her face. There's a long review out there about this that really had me laughing out loud about how much it damaged her character by not using her face when she talks. 2. I agree that Romanoff has a huge character arc. Maybe the 2nd biggest in the Infinity Saga. I think that Iron Man's is a little more drastic, though. He goes from the definition of selfish, to completely selfless. Natasha's is a little more gradual and I think a little less transparent because of her being mostly a secondary character without a movie with her name in the title.
  14. It's the shortened version of my online username since 2008. I never have more than 1 piece of pie (assuming the slice is 25% of said pie).
