  1. Nice set up! I apologize if this has been asked before... what are you using to hang up your slabs like that?
  2. She made an appearance at Denver Comic Con 2017 and I know for a fact that she signed books that were submitted for CGC Signature Series - so they do exist. I don't recall what she charged for her signature but I would guess it was around $100 or less. Keep in mind that Galaxycon is advertising a signing with her and it looks like they are charging $150 for her signature. I wanted to add that you said you have a book already signed by her that you are sending in soon to be graded. That makes me think it is not a Signature Series situation and instead it will get the green qualified label which will affect (downgrade) the value of the book.
  3. Recent pick up from one of my favorite artists... Mark Brooks!
  4. Thanks! I was guessing it was a printing / manufacturing defect too. But even then, I figured CGC would probably still knock the grade down for it.
  5. Thanks. I was actually looking more for insight from you all as to if this is something CGC would grade down for.
  6. Hi all. I wanted to get your expertise about something I came across that I don't recall seeing before. If you look right above the staple, you can see multiple really tiny indentations. I am guessing that is a printing defect vs actual damage to the book (but I could be wrong). What do you all think? Is this something CGC would knock down in grade for? I was not sure where else to post this but I was hoping you all might have better knowledge / insight as to how CGC might grade something like this. Thanks everyone!
  7. Ha ha - love this idea / concept! Congrats!
  8. @JoeBrrr Thanks guys for your input. I can see the value of the CA hologram sticker for non-CGC SS items - just couldn't see the value for it on a CGC SS book preventing me from swapping out the slab.
  9. Hi. Here's an example of one. Older slab. CGC Signature Series. It was a signing through Celebrity Authentics and they attach their hologram authentication sticker on all their items. You can see the sticker at the top right corner next to CGC's hologram sticker. I would prefer to upgrade the slab to the newer one but my only hesitancy is does Celebrity Authentics' hologram sticker add any value? Just wondering what other CGC SS celebrity autograph collectors thought?
  10. Hi all. I was hoping to get your opinion on a matter/question. I have a couple of CGC SS books that were done through Celebrity Authentics that are in the older slabs. Those slabs have Celebrity Authentics' Hologram authentication sticker. I would like to upgrade the slabs to the newer ones but I doubt the Hologram sticker will be transferred to the new slab. My question then - is it worth upgrading the slab while losing the Hologram authentication sticker? The books will still be CGC SS and I will still have the photo (COA). I am not sure how much (more) value the Hologram authentication sticker brings to a CGC SS book (for other items, yes I can see the value). Anyways - thoughts anyone?
  11. It would be great to see him join the MCU!
  12. Hi. Sadly, I didn't meet him. I actually sent the books in to a facilitator to get signed. I am hoping to meet him one day though.
  13. Brendan Fraser! I think I like this cover better than the photo one.
