The enlightenment in this thread is simply blinding. According to my very reliable sources, none of these ladies is a lesbian. I also personally know five lesbians. One of them has short hair.

Maybe Spider-Man Far From Home will deal with it more seriously, I don't know, it was just a guess. But Spider-Man Homecoming never got too serious, almost like a Disney teen movie, so it's an educated guess. I did like the subtle approach in Endgame though, when Hulk brought everything back. I liked the first indication of something being different was sunlight shining through the window and birdsong, followed by a phone call.

As the Spider-Man movies seem to be lighter fare, Far From Home will probably touch on it briefly, then move on. Since the next two movies in 2020, Black Widow and The Eternals, are supposed to take place in the past, maybe Marvel will have the movies lag in real time to catch up to 2023? And for the next few adventures, say Falcon and Bucky or the next Doctor Strange, I don't think it'll be a big deal to take place in the near future until we're all caught up with the 5 year difference.

What's been driving people to the theaters is first and foremost the Marvel Studios brand. At this point, Marvel could make a Howard the Duck movie and it'd probably make almost a half a billion. Seriously. In the case of Black Panther and Captain Marvel, that was already at least half the box office gross. Fans of the brand. That they were both good movies and got good word of mouth also helped as it does with any flick. But what added even more to that was Disney knowing its audience and potential audience, and catering to underserved demographics of people who go to movies. With Black Panther, trolls and Comicsgaters cried "SJW!" and "identity politics!", while Disney was looking at a rising population of African American consumers ready to spend money on a Black Panther movie, and with Captain Marvel, they saw a world population of about 8 billion people, half of them women, and a decent percentage of them ready to see a solo female hero in this Marvel universe, even one hardly anyone knew anything about. Both movies were good by simply hiring decent directors, casting well, and following a tried and true Marvel formula. And now the audiences are there for the sequels, cross-over movies, whatever. These people know what they're doing.

But they've been doing just that for the past few years already! As far as cloud seeding, GOTG Vol 2 teased Adam Warlock and there's still the question of Rocket's origin. Ant-Man and the Wasp gave us a closer look at the Quantum Realm. Black Panther introduced vibranium. Captain Marvel opened up the galaxy maybe even more than GOTG did. Multi-dimensions were only touched upon in Doctor Strange. Endgame left as many loose ends as were tied. What's in Thor's future? Where is Gamora? How is Gamora? Will Sam Wilson be able to live up to wielding the Shield? What about Vision? Will there be an Avengers team after all this? And everybody(exaggerating) is saying the sky's falling because Tony Stark is dead/RDJ is out or Cap/Chris Evans is retired. I bet Kevin Feige ain't sweating. Four of the past five non-Avengers MCU movies made near a billion or well over. And know what? In none of them was I thinking "wow, this movie would be so much better if Robert Downey Jr or Chris Evans showed up to crash the party." Thor Ragnarok, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and the Guardians were able to carry their own story without an assist from "the anchors of the MCU" so-called. And none of those movies had anything to do with Thanos trying to get an Infinity Stone, either. But, the one non-Avengers movie, Spiderman Homecoming, that did get an assist from Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, was okay, but didn't necessarily hit it out of the park, didn't make a billion dollars, and I'm not sure I'd even call it the best Spider-Man movie, though Tom Holland is great and has starry eyed high school kid locked down. As far as I see it, the MCU's future is solidified. And I'm not talking about long time comic book readers, but the rest of the world. As Tony Stark said in Endgame, "We need new blood." They have it, and there's more in the bank. All they have to do is keep making compelling movies. As long as Feige and other equally competent people are at the forefront, I don't see any reason why they won't. Make mine Marvel.

I think Marvel Studios is content playing the long game with its universe and feels it doesn't need to rush everybody in at once. I think they stay the course with current scheduling but we'll see Logan/Wolverine sooner than later, but it'll be a while for the rest of the X-Men.

Going off recent eBay sales, it seems like there could be room for high grade slabs to grow compared to the first appearances of other Avengers.

Speaking of speculation, I wonder if Sam Wilson's first SA appearance is going to start getting the respect and value it deserves...

I remember all that hyped-up speculation about Black Knight making his debut in Endgame and folks buying up copies of key Black Knight comics and prices peaking. Hope they're not too disappointed in Sir Knight's no-show. I didn't think he'd show up. The Russo Brothers seem to like to play it straight, and even with Thanos and time travel, they don't seem to get too out there or quirky with it. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if the Black Knight shows up in The Eternals given the film's alleged journey through time and Sersi's relationship with the character.

Mmm, I wouldn't undersell the "remaining" MCU cast so fast. Spider-Man aside since he's Sony, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange are your new franchise backbone, and that's not bad. They currently don't have the relationship love/hate that Stark/Rogers had, but we also aren't building towards another Civil War, so the infighting is done (which made for good drama, I admit). I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel decides to make a new Thor Trilogy based off Ragnarok. He has the stories left to do one. The Guardians are like the Avengers now, they can have a rotating roster. DOn't be surprised to see Adam Warlock, of course, but maybe Moondragon, Bug, Super-Skrull, the last Nova Corps member (which was destroyed by Thanos) or whoever, join the Guardians to create a new story arc. The Disney Plus shows aren't a relegation. They tie-in to the movies now. Sure, Wanda and Vision aren't getting a solo movie, but they can still be Avengers for the next big event movie. I wouldn't be surprised if the Captain Marvel movies serve as past Captain America movies did, and become mini-Avengers movies, with a regular active roster (like that team at the end of Ultron and beginning of Civil War) with heroes like Professor Hulk, War Machine, Ant-Man and the Wasp (who also are probably going to get a third movie). The Eternals, I think, are going to be a huge part of the future plan for the MCU, and may play into the next big event movie (you think Disney/Marvel doesn't want to do another of these with all the money Infinity War and Endgame are making?) And I think Shang Chi may not be as street level as some may believe. He might be a little more than just kung fu. And on Silver Surfer. I love the Surfer. But I think he may be getting overestimated as a franchisable character. A cool character for sure, but I just don't see him being relatable and human enough to connect with general audiences, unless they really focus on his Norrin Radd persona. But the Surfer may make a better supporting character for the Fantastic Four (another cinematic problem) as he is in the comics. After all, I don't recall the Surfer ever being able to support a series that did very well. He was always great guest starring, but couldn't sell as a solo character. No eyeballs, maybe?

It's very possible Thanos simply had the Pym Particles and Stark Time Device replicated. Below is a picture of the car that drives by the home that Peggy and Steve are in. The other photo is allegedly of a set on Endgame. The car is a 1946 DeSoto Deluxe. My theory is that Steve went back to about the time he went on ice, 1945, and met Peggy for that dance.

Okay, I need to go watch Endgame a third time. That scene takes on a whole new meaning now. Stark truly was the only person who could take the Stones from Thanos, which makes his ultimate hero moment that much more meaningful.

Wow, I just realized that.I thought there was a switch, but to what? So maybe on the side, Stark augmented his nano suit to act as a Gauntlet, so during the "switch" since the other Gauntlet was also Stark tech, he was able to somehow make the stones travel to his suit? I'm a little confused about that but I totally thought there was a switch between the good Gauntlet and the old Gauntlet...
