  1. Marvel Previews #95. Ok, I am joking but this thing is blowing up on ebay right now...
  2. Here are more complications: Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars #2 Bachalo Variant (front cover gwenpool app) Marvel previews 95 (front cover new spiderman app) Gobbledygook 1 & 2 (back cover turtles app) All are pretty pricey so it looks as the market assigns value to a first published appearance of a character. What these are labeled as (first appearance, etc) is up for debate.
  3. Miles Morales keys are getting crazy lately...A lot of record breaking sales the last couple of weeks. UF 4 variant - $3500, marvel previews 95 - $2100, UF 4 1st print - $600, UF 2nd print - $385. Any speculation on why? Is there news?
  4. I know the club is for 1 and 2 but had to add my 3 and 4...
  5. So do all copies of Cerebus #1 go before Dave Sim before CGC will determine if the copy is a genuine or fake? Then exactly what are we paying CGC for? A label and slab but not authenticity? Millions of copies of book have been slabbed without going in front of the creators for authenticity. What about a TMNT #1 which has known fakes? Does Kevin have to determine these also? So when it is "easy" you can determine a books authenticity but when it is "hard" you cannot? A gobbledygook is a photo copy of the original drawn art. A fake gobbledygook therefore is a copy of a copy. So you are telling all of us that you will authenticate million dollar books but you can't tell a copy of a copy?!? You need Kevin Eastman to do this? I'm pretty sure most people can tell a copy of a copy or maybe Kevin is the designated expert of spotting a copy of a copy vs a copy of an original. Sheesh...I've heard it all now. Here is what is on your main web page: "Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) revolutionized the comic book marketplace when it was founded in 2000 by providing clear, objective and impartial assessments of authenticity and grade."
  6. Talk about jumping the tracks. My original question was on value and now I am arguing about the CGC maximum thickness. You can post whatever you want genus but here is the email from CGC...go argue their process with them.
  7. Oh really? Is that why? You asked CGC and that was the reason? WRONG. They don't grade them because they said they wont fit in the case due to the spiral binding. Since I actually have the book, I asked them and that was their response.
  8. Anyone have a guesstimate on the value of a 30 days of night spiral edition. It came back a 9.8 for the CGC competitor since CGC won't grade them as they apparently won't fit in the case.
