The Pacific Coast copy is amazing, but the Sasha News copy beats it.

Another Doctor Strange for the personal collection. I was surprised at the price on this one for a higher grade 1974 book (a tad less than $300). I love the cover!!

A new addition.

It’s been easier to find nice Strange Tales with great Doc covers than finding the last three I need to complete the Doctor Strange run. 172, 177, and 182 are just hiding from me!! 😂

Another eBay purchase 🤪 

A really nice, well centered copy of Doctor Strange Annual #1.

Prices are down, and I was able to upgrade to this Tomb of Dracula 44 9.8. 

Hoping to see more high grade Doctor Strange copies show up. I don’t mind upgrading, but it would be great to see some of those last few issues that I don’t already have 😁.

Woohoo! Back in March I bid on a Doctor Strange 176 in 9.6 and lost out. My max bid was $1,550 but it sold for $2,400.

Tonight on ComicLink I won this 176 in 9.6 and saved a ton of $$$ 🤣.

I hope a few others in that run come up for sale. So close to finishing 169-183. 

Another Doctor Strange added to the collection. 

I’m five issues away from completing the 169 to 183 run. Still looking for 172, 173, 176, 177 and 182 in 9.6 or 9.8.

I really wanted/needed this Doctor Strange 176, but it shot right past my maximum bid.

I got the 110’s graded last year. It’s the Eerie 1 at CGC (in Quality Control so we’re almost there UPDATE - the Eerie 1 graded at 8.0 ❤️).

I looked back at what I paid for my #169 9.8 western penn copy in 2007, and I remember at the time I thought it was bonkers.   But the book just never came up for sale in high grade at all back then, so I pulled the trigger.   Now it looks like an absolute bargain.

Back in the 90’s I think I overpaid for every book I bought. Two Strange Tales 110 at $300 and $1,200. Eerie 1 for $1,300 (at CGC now). Two Gaines file Tales from the Crypt at $600 each. My friends called me an insufficiently_thoughtful_person. Dealers loved me. But I still have the books!! 🥰

Now I’m paying more for grading and insurance than I paid for the books. 🧐

Congrats on the 176! I would’ve bid on it but I had a tight budget and wasn’t sure where 179 was going to land. Also, this was my first experience with ComicConnect and I thought I could be a last minute bidder. But I was surprised to see the auction extends 3 minutes with each bid. I traded bids with someone for 177 but gave up (sorry if that was a fellow boardie). 
I hope we see more 9.6’s and 9.8’s in the future but not so many at once lol. Someday I will get a 9.6 169 :-)
