  1. Submission for reholder delivered on May 1st and box scanned on May 4th. Hasn't been checked in/received yet. Just wondering if this is terribly out of the ordinary or has something to do with the influx of submissions before the price changes? I only submit occasionally so don't really have too much experience to go by. Never taken nearly this long for anything prior to be checked in. At this point I don't even care about TAT just be happy for it to be checked in.

  3. https://www.comicconnect.com/item/991859 Presents way better than it's grade with super deep colors! Just has some overspray on the top edge of back cover that knocked it down to 7. I have a 9.0 that looks nearly identical on the front cover. https://www.comicconnect.com/item/994848 https://www.comicconnect.com/item/994847 https://www.comicconnect.com/item/994849 Nice clear date stamp on back cover! ⬇️
  4. Have you considered Myslabs? You'd be looking at a 4.9% fee in total. You could advertise the listing here on the "comics market sales advertising" forum for Ebay, etc. Otherwise there's always the possibility of consigning to CC or Clink or maybe Lone star.
  5. Some classic Kane up the nostrils and super calf muscles.
  6. Feebay please....for the love of God....give it a rest with the fees! They're making it impossible to sell anything 🤬 If you sell somewhat pricey slabs, what they're effectively doing is inviting people to just delist and consign to the auction houses at first sign of life in the market. This goes double if you're a casual seller without the need of a storefront subscription. At least throw people a bone every once in a while with a final value fee promo or something.
  7. ASM 121 is 50 years old this month! Crazy!
  8. Should be noted that Clink has been charging sales tax (at least in Florida) since early in the year and CC hasn't as of yet. I assume if they're charging in Florida, the same would apply to other big states.
  9. Are you talking about certified? That was about the time census data was still being filled and top grades were a lower %?
  10. The term "9.8 craze" was thrown around here once or twice in 2020. There was one auction on HA - I think in the fall of 2020 - where I recall people rage posting around here 1000% convinced shenanigans were going on. If I recall that specific auction had a bunch of rando 9.8 issues just going for whacko level prices. Anyway, I think even the 9.8s that sell relatively often like GSXM 1 have at least doubled FMV since pre pandemic.
  11. Bless the day Clink develops an easily searchable database of past auction results on the website! Not talking about the way they have it now where you have to scroll down a wall of auctioned slabs but something like a search engine specifically for that. It really would be most helpful!
  12. Well if those multiples persist then I don't think it would be consistent with a market in correction or decline. In such case I'd imagine there would be eventual top down spillover on to other grades. Clearly enough people have concluded 9.8s to be in a league of their own for some time now but 10X seems excessive imo. Generally If you're going to have an up market then some degree of increasing multiple between grades is almost inevitable. Maybe not 10X but it'll be some increase. I don't think a 10X multiple between 9.8 and 9.6 is sustainable but we saw very wide multiples persist in 2020 and 2021.
  13. Honestly CC's website was probably better before they changed it. If you're using the mobile version it borderline sucks. I like them as a company but that website👎
  14. Very anecdotal but several slabs I was tracking on CC tonight hammered VERY VERY strong! Two for record GPA. Some consignors are smiling!
  15. Just curious what would be the problem with this copy from top to bottom? Is it the black line? And does the spine have anything to do with judging registration in general? It's a little confusing reading the back and forth.
