  1. I see your point but if they're graded high & in a slab it seems like it would be preferable to have the artist sig rather than not. All they did was sign it. Just my view
  2. Ok, as an example if you saw a high graded CGC ASM #1 reprint from 1966 that was signed by Lee would that sig catch your attention? It's a book he had a lot to do with. And to further complicate things there are sketches (detailed or not) & date of signature to consider.
  3. Curious why would you dislike signed silver age books?
  4. You should send it out for grading. Newsstand edition too!
  5. Here's 2 of em. Too lazy to post pics of the others at the moment
  6. One of the certainties in my life is that coupons will ALWAYS pop up the day after I make a qualifying purchase! No matter where I shop... nothing new
  7. Anybody know when in 1966 this reprinting was released? During what month or months? Noticed it doesn't have a price on cover. Was it sold?
  8. Yes I have subscribed thank you. I think however that GPS includes group sales on their lists. That would seem ridiculous but I read in another thread that's what they do. I found another site however + heritage has information as well.
  9. It's almost impossible to find that issue in a higher grade. The census count is low. Doesn't grading involve more than just the covers?
  10. Wondering if CGC graded slabs are always foil wrapped? If they are & I get a graded book that's not would that be a problem?
  11. K thanks. That one I recently bought. I'm considering ASM 83 9.8 by CGC ow/w pages for 1700. Hard to find this one auctioned or sold anywhere! I really want it but I think it's too high. What say you?
  12. What's your take on varying sketches on covers by the artists? Would a more detailed venom sketched like this one for example fetch higher value than a comparable book with a Spiderman face sketch?
  13. Oh ok it was actually 100 if you count shipping. I made a reasonable offer for the white but it was declined right away Plus the white was a cbcs the one I got was cgc
  14. What a relief!! I was worried about there being a substantial difference! Just baught a ASM 138 ow/w while passing on another white with roughly 80 dollar difference
  15. Ok I'm referring to amazing spider-man #83 & 138. Would there be a huge difference between white pages & ow to white with these in particular?
  16. I've seen some 9.8 say off white pages & some off white to white while others state white pages. How much of a difference in value would there be between them?
  17. Yes. Was just trying to gauge value range. It hasn't been sold all that much in past 15 years according to GPA
  18. Anyone have any idea if 129.00 is too high for a Todd Nauck signed black spider man sketch edition of this book?
  19. Hmmn, I'm pretty sure it's been sold more than once the past 24 months but gocollect only records one sale at a very low price.
