Offering up my 1st SDCC Exclusive pre-sale, BATMAN #125 Bill Sienkiewicz CGC signature series. There are two versions, full color and b/w sketch variant. Not entirely certain of the print run at the moment, but they're typically small. If it's anything like his HULK covers from 2019, probably 5000 cps on the cover A and 2000 on the cover B.
    BATMAN 125 (cover A) SDCC exclusive CGC 9.8 s/s Sienkiewicz - $175
    BATMAN 125 (cover B) SDCC exclusive CGC 9.8 s/s Sienkiewicz - $225
Add $12.75 for shipping anywhere U.S., or $40 shipping to Canada
Price point is indicative of all costs associated with op, including any pressing that may be required.

Hi Rich, I'd like to claim a copy of Cover B. Thanks!

These were actual beer, mailed from the Valiant offices to retailers - so they knew the recipients were legal age.

Unopened bottles have gone for around $40 to $100 - with the higher prices being paid for the "full set" which is the unopened bottle, Christmas card/postcard, and original mailing box with markings from the Valiant offices.

Opened bottles are likely to be around $20 - $25, and the Darque Brew seems to have about half of the labels applied upside down - so it's an error but not necessary "rare" compared to the correct bottle label.

It has been a few years since I have seen these trade hands, though, so the pricing may have changed in the mean time or there could be people wanting to pick them up and ready to pay extra just to mark it off their checklist.

Thanks for the great information! Really appreciate it.

This is a pretty cool thing. For the most part (production errors aside), these are actual beer?

They both have the warning label about drinking alcoholic beverages, so I assume so.

Of course, since hardly anyone probably actually drank them (since opening = lowered value, and we're collectors, after all), they could be filled with water. :-)

These were mailed to retailers back in the mid ‘90’s as a thank you.  I want to say it was 1993 and 1994, but I could be off by a year.  They included a Christmas card as well.  As for what they sell for, not sure, I’ve had mine ever since and don’t plan on selling.

Thanks, that must have been when I got mine, as well. (They still have the card in them, too.)

The Darque bottle came empty (the cap's still on) and the label's upside down, so that must've been a production error.

  5. I wasn't sure where to post this question, so apologies if this is the wrong place.

Been going through stuff in preparation for a move and found these two Valiant promotional beers in a box. Does anyone know more about them, or if they're worth anything?

    Thanks!

Good morning, thanks for your message.  Yes, if you choose different services or tiers then it will separate your orders into different invoice and they will ship out as completed. You can check your packing slip when you complete your online order and it will show you the different invoices the order will be broken down into.  Custom labels are a separate service and will create a separate invoice for those books.

    Thanks!

Got it. Thanks for the response!

  7. I recently sent in two books for new holders, and when they were shipped back, they were sent in separate boxes. (Which doubled the shipping cost.)

Is this normal? One of them had a custom Venom label, the other was a straight reslab.

    Thanks!
