  1. What are the odds, very cool.
  2. Waiting to be shipped from the C-Link. Very hard to find. I've already offered twice what I paid. I've been looking for this for years.
  3. Thanks, only $100,000 or so and I will have everything in 9.4 or above..........
  4. I just updated my count. 63 long boxes - about 19000 books 6 magazine boxes - about 500 books about 500 CGC'd books about 10 short boxes but I am not sure what is in them yet. Grand total about 20,000+.
  5. Kudos for the payment and the big purchase of the high grade X-Men.
  6. X-Men 45 was a warehouse find. There are a huge number of high grade copies out there. Issue 37,38, 50, 53, 61 and 89 are other examples of warehouse finds or similar. Issue 89 I think is more prevalent due to it being part of the infamous Mile High II "pedigree." I have searched for high grade X-Men for many years and you start to see a pattern of what is out there.
  7. My other goal is to at least become #2 in 2007 and then that will put me closer to being #1 from 201-300 \ You will have to go through me. I will be picking up a X-Men #1 in 9.0 or better this year and finishing the rest of the early run in 9.4 or better . Good luck, those early X-Mens are too rich for my pockets right now which is why im starting with the later issues. I like your 201-300 run you and watson have a couple of toughies that I have been trying to get but cant seem to find them anywhere especially the ones that have less than 15 9.8 in the census never show up. All in good time, you are 20 and have plenty of time to blow all you money like I do on early X-Men. Seriously, you have amassed quite a nice set in a short amount of time. The time to do it is now before life's responsibilities catch up. The later issues are not as hard as you think to find, they just need time to come out of the woodwork. I have just about every issue 5 times over and one day I will sit down and see what to have graded. There are probably 100 guys with the same thing. I"ll keep you in mind when I sell my duplicates.

  9. Nice book. Good luck in finding #76. It is tough to find. I'm looking for one too. Thanks, the 76 is second toughtest X-Men book to find in 9.4 or better. Only 79 is tougher and another one of them just popped up. Hopefully I will not have the same bidding war for the 76 as I did for the 79.
  10. Only one more X-Men reprint to go in 9.4 or above. Anybody know where I can get issue 76 in CGC 9.4 or above?
  11. Congrats, I know it's been a loooong road. Thanks guys, now to my next attainable grail X-Men - number 76. 2 in 9.4 and 1 in 9.6 .
  12. My grail. Paid insane money for it but it is super scarce.
  13. His name actually was Anus the Untouchable but Marvel could not get put that on the cover. He was untouchable because of bad hygeine habits.
  14. Thanks, one more hard to find X-Men from Doug .
  15. I just picked this beauty from Pedigree. You do not see this issue for sale too often. Massachusetts Pedigree to boot and $1000 less then what another dealer offered me a year ago.
  16. Kudos to Mark of PGCMint for providing a beautiful X-Men 4 in 9.4.
  17. I was the high bidder of Mark's auction tonight (PGCmint/dizneyart.) I cannot wait to get it -
  18. Thanks, I am really happy about these pickups. Of course, I am coming to realize that this hobby is becoming a sickness...........
