I've read and reread many times my Hulk 1, FF 1 & TTA 27. I guess those are some of the most valuable books in my collection.

Gosh, I don't think I have any reader copies. I do have reprints and facsimiles of a few keys that I own. I've also never upgraded. So much of my collecting was in New Mexico and prior to the Internet and eBay and the like, regional scarcity was a thing. It was hard finding anything noteworthy and I took what I could get and moved on to the next lucky find. I could upgrade now but again, condition doesn't really matter all that much to me. I'd rather spend my money on something new.

With key books from any era I too am of the thought that any grade is better than no grade. I would still prefer the book to be presentable but even that is not a deal breaker. Ever seen my copy of FF1?
If it's Copper or newer I'd prefer my books to be VF or better. For Bronze or older books I actually think the FN range is the sweet spot. I enjoy handling and browsing and reading my books. In this grade range I can do so without any worry of damaging an issue. There's also something aesthetically pleasing for me for older books that are FN or lower. I expect old comics to have had a journey before they ended up in my collection. Love equals wear in many cases.

I prefer the alternate take on Blood Meridian ~ Lonesome Dove.
I first read this when I was 14 and have reread it probably four or five times. I'll watch the miniseries about once a year if not more often.

Cool cover and the girl is nice, but there's some dispute if that's actually a Baker cover. I don't think he did any work for Avon.
Interesting...

The Saint 4
A seller on eBay has a 4.0 that was originally listed for $1,899. He offered it to me for $1499. It's now been dropped to $899. He gets it to $500 or $600 I might bite.

This is an on-going problem. Are there no local 75-year-old women who have their Diary Secrets or Teen-Age Romance collections from their girlhood they'd like to donate or sell cheap to a good cause?
Getting into Baker definitely means I gotta start unloading comics. It's like buying Apple or Tesla stock.

That Teen-age Romances 32 on eBay ($3900) now has me thinking I need to sell some Copper books.
True Love Pictorial 9
The Saint 4
Diary Secrets 21
Wartime Romances 8
Dunno. I'd like to look at a cute girl on a cover. Being in distress is optional. So too is a swimsuit. I still need education and exposure to understand what I'd like. (And a bigger comic book fund.)

third????
Oh yeah, got this from @Point Five a couple of weeks back. No Baker cover of course, but two or three stories within.
I'm looking for something for the right price with the right look of the ladies on the cover.

I wish I collected them more. The one I frequent in Albuquerque, Age of Comics, has a nice wall display and a secret "Danger Room" of top tiered slabs. I say at least 25% of them are Golden Age. It seems they get in plenty every few weeks or so. Most don't last long. Example, they got in a bunch of L. B. Cole war comics two months back and they were gone within a week or so.

I'm thinking about a 7.0 tops. The spine has a little bit too much creasing and damage for me to go higher. Keep in mind though, I believe that CGC gives this book a bump. Thanks for sharing.

The book does appear to have had water damage and it's a little hard to tell the extent based on pictures alone. But I would agree that this book looks to be around at 4.5 or 5.0. The miscut really shouldn't affect the grade in this range. Thanks for posting.

Yup. I've been a bit curious about the books you might have for a while. You're not disappointing.
