CGC makes no remark for this first issue of Jackie Gleason being the first appearance of The Honeymooners, which I believe it is as I know of no earlier Gleason books and this predates The Honeymooners TV books & titled TV show. But CGC does note that DC’s The Honeymooners is their first appearance “in DC comics”, though they use an oddly placed comma imo which kinda misleads you to think it is the first appearance in all of comics. Maybe it’s just me.

Also Norton and Alice both have their faces obscured throughout the story. licensing issues?

I was offered 17K for my 4.0 25, then was asked what my number be for me to part with it, I told him I'm not gonna even think about selling it for less than 50K, he said he'll keep looking elsewhere.

I can see the 7.5 hitting close to 75K+ maybe even 100k,  where are you gonna find another one that high?  Which is what will drive the price.

    May we see it? :foryou:

Ok, so scrap the James Howlett origin. Sorry, it will always be lame.

Keep his Canadian origins. But how'd he get there? Before living for years with the First Nations (where he was the Sasquatch - originally short, yes, but legends grow and tall tales become taller) he was a Viking and came to Newfoundland.

Before that where was he? The possibilities are tantalizing. Logan the Lion in ancient Greece. Logan the Jackal in dynastic Egypt. Logan the Cave Bear in prehistory.

Imagine him in the Hyborian Age....

There's some stories that could be told of the Immortal Wolverine.
