    About a month ago a lady had a long box of Marvels, FM Daredevils, Iron Man in the 40-60 range (No 55) all nice flat glossy with water damage at the bottom staple. Rusted almost to dust and paper almost disintegrating or sticking to the other books.

    Geeze, ease up on the ladies Drak! Save some for us. Almost got a complete run now for a buck a book. Got a 3, 10 and 13 for 5 bucks each or less. Passed on a low grade 2 but I know I am gonna have to pay $$$ for a #1. Maybe.....

    You can often find cheap hand trucks at auto parts stores. Even if you are taking 1 box at a time and there are stairs it is a must. I moved 60 shorts recently 2 separate times and I should of gotten one.

    No way around it unfortunately but I think 30% of our collections total mass is backing boards, bags and ads.

    Drawer boxes are ok but they sit right on the floor (yes?) and if it gets wet will sponge right up to the top. My rack has wheels so my room could get 6 inches of water with no problems. 18 inches before it hits row 2 so keep the drek low. In a house fire you would probably see me pushing that cart down the street in my underwear.

    Everything I am into that I just looked at seemed reasonable to me (even the consignments). If I wasn't going for some OA right now I would put in an order. If you want overpriced look at almost every LCS wall everywhere for ever!

    A long box of early newsprint is not bad, a long box of moderns is like a block of cement. I was at a flea market a few months back and saw a long box organized like Grumbles. I thought I hit the jackpot. It was all Macross and Area 88!

    Hate longboxes, too heavy. Old shower curtain or trash bag over the top in case of leaks from pipes above.

    I am Marvel/DC/Independents in short boxes on metal racks. Then just a rough break down is good enough for me. Lois Lane, Superboy and Superman etc all squished in. Batman, Harley Quinn, Gotham City Sirens, etc... I also have "must sell" stacks, "must slab" stacks.... "give these away" stacks. I'll try to put up pics on Monday.

    I understand giving your comic to someone and giving them $$$ to have it signed by someone you can't travel to meet but what is the deal with dropping your books off at a store to then send to CGC? How much are they charging for this?

    Just checked some prices on that FF12, oh man way up there. Got the Hulk bump for sure. Is it a good story? You can grab a real nice GSX1 for like 1800 bucks.
