  1. Got my Wolvie Blue and found an Excalibur blue also but the X-Men 25 is just blank. Solid black gloss with no image. Anyone seen another?
  2. Throw me the idol, I throw you the whip.
  3. She is sweet! Nice date stamp too. Could it get a VF with that paper color?
  4. Is it just me or are DC silver age staples just soooo tight? I got lots of nice Adventures Comics and the paper is pounded to dust around the bottom staple.
  5. I was thinking 9.4 until I saw the back. I would put it in mylar and it would be one of my favorite raws! Luv it! I still need a copy.
  6. Thanks Shane! I'll keep an eye out for it. OP should jump on that $180 then.
  7. I would just buy a 9.8 of this issue if that is what you have your heart set on. Would you want this book in a 9.4 case with that corner hang nail taunting your every waking moment? Especially after you paid for shipping back and forth? I am assuming this book is everywhere. Print run anybody? Please let me know if I am wrong.
  8. Hard to look for flaws cause I can't take my eyes off the girl! How is the centerfold? I have a one staple Millie and the center wrap is long gone. I'd call it a VG+ but I've never had any slabbed golden age.
  9. I said 6.5 without looking at anyone else's thoughts. What is the chip on torches hand?
  10. Thanks Liz! The price on the Superman Flash issues went nuts and I am missing a few. Got this for 8 bucks with the page out so it's a keeper. I've seen it on LCS walls now for $200!
  11. My copy has the last page cut. The story is complete and the letters page is toward the middle. Am I missing a pin-up or just some ads?
  12. The only thing I keep in my SDB is Morgan Dollars. I don't own any high dollar books that would need to be in a vault. If I had any high grade books I would have to sell them for a lower grade copy and another issue I don't have.
  13. Thanks James, if it was a keeper or super common I might mess with it but I think a Baker collector will want it so I don't want to be the guy who makes it worse. It feels just like sand paper grit. Overstreet lists it as "rare" but how rare can it be if I own a copy????
  14. You will stumble on a perfect SW8 at some point in your life. Plenty out there. The print run had to be over 500,000. I have 2 copies and I'm not even sure where one of them is. I wanted my money back as a kid on Secret Wars part 2. Didn't even buy the second issue.
  15. I had a 57 Chevy with rusty headliner bows. It ate through the cloth like acid. I love water damaged silver and bronze with rusty staples cause the shop owners around me toss them in the dollar bins. But the staples come out. Some just disappear by themselves.
  16. Definitely a tape pull on back cover too.
  17. I think that top corner is from being near a bird cage. It is actually textured, I don't think it is mold. Lots more spine roll than I remembered it having so I think when I got it I must not of even known about spine roll!
  18. Oh, and I personally would call it Fine Minus. Not sure what CGC's number would be on a chunk like that on a copper book.
  19. Ouch! Reader copy only. But such an awesome book. I bought it off the stands when I was a kid. I had an extra copy and sold it cover price to a guy looking for a copy at a LCS that was obviously hoarding just days after release. He was stoked.
  20. Stoked to get this Betty for $15 bucks and couldn't pass this PEP for $2 even though it's about to blow away in the wind.
