  1. My initial thought was 4.5...so I'll stick with that. IMO. Really cool to see old Kirby work.
  2. Nice to see another ASM #1. I would leave the staple alone since it's not a high grade book. An expert clean/press can only help here, so I'm going with 2.0/2.5...IMO. Can't wait to see the grade though!!!
  3. I believe I'm seeing a mild spine roll on the back cover. A press would help that, otherwise 7.5/8.0...IMO
  4. Don't see a press doing a lot of good here. 7.0...IMO
  5. Pressing will help, especially if you don't have high hopes for more than an 8.0. 7.0/7.5...IMO.
  6. Interior pages hurt this one, unfortunately. I can't see how pressing it would help much either. 5.5/6.0...IMO. Honestly, I wouldn't deal with that person on FB. They either don't know much about grading or they are completely scamming you. Either way, seems fishy. You might be better off finding a CGC threadie who's interested.
  7. KILLING RED SONJA #1, THE COMIC MINT/AARON BARTLING 'VIRGIN' VARIANT, CGC 9.8 $75, PLUS SHIPPING SOLD
  8. HARLEY QUINN & POISON IVY #1, THE COMIC MINT/SHANNON MAER 'VIRGIN' VARIANT, COVER B WITH COA (#138 OF 800), CGC 9.8 $50, PLUS SHIPPING SOLD
  9. HARLEY QUINN & POISON IVY #1, THE COMIC MINT/SHANNON MAER 'VIRGIN' VARIANT, COVER D WITH COA (#227 OF 800), CGC 9.8 $100, PLUS SHIPPING SOLD
  10. UNCANNY X-MEN #1 (LGY #620), MARK BROOKS CONVENTION EXCLUSIVE, COVER A. Nice books with no spine creases. The bottom spine corner is lightly blunted/split because of the thickness of the book...IMO. There is also a small indentation near the center of the front spine. It doesn't break the ink. Near Mint, or better $10, PLUS SHIPPING SOLD
  11. Printer crease, maybe 7.0...IMO. If the ink is broken...5.0 to 6.0. Again...IMO. An expert pressing might get those wrinkles out too, but won't fix the broken ink....of course.
  12. I agree with #2. My first comic was Devil Dinosaur #1. Probably explains my fascination with dinos & dragons. Lol. It's in a slab as an 8.5. Won't sell it....too sentimental.
  13. Yup. I just felt justified explaining my user name is all. Most people think that's my real name.
  14. My thought as well, but I don't have it in front of me. Kinda hard to tell if the ink is broken.
  15. BATMAN #92, ARTGERM 'PUNCHLINE' VARIANT, COVER B This book is in great shape, except for couple of minor issues: the spine corners are a bit blunted, but I believe it's because of the cardstock cover. Punchline's face has a small 'scratch' indentation on it...for lack of a better description. NM, or better $7.50, PLUS SHIPPING SOLD
  16. The spelling is correct because of the first dragon i ever saw in a movie when I was a kid...Dragonslayer. That was the protagonist's name. I know I'm dating myself, but that started my fascination with dragons long ago.
  17. I circled an example on the back cover. That looks like white where it should be brownish, but it could be the lighting too.
  18. Those wrinkles appear to break the ink in spots. Is that correct?
  19. Is that a hole on the right side, near the letter M? Or soil/ink rub?
