    I hope it is OK to post a Shadow pulp giveaway, with the Shadow being the direct predecessor of The Batman. The image on the left is a high grade copy of a 1933 Shadow pulp entitled "Murder Trail". The image on the right is the black and white promotional giveaway of "Murder Trail", which was distributed as a promotional item to newsstands in 1933, by Street & Smith.
