We have 47 board members signed-up so far, 16 of which did not participate in the Gift Exchange last year, which is awesome. Thanks to all those who have signed-up and I very much look forward to hearing from many, many more. -HJO

Just some good natured holiday ribbing.

This probably doesn't need to be stated, but I will anyway... No one participating in the Holiday Gift Exchange will be left behind. We already have a TON of members who have graciously volunteered to be back-up Santas if the need arises and, over the next days, as more eligible members sign-up, we will have a TON more. My suggestion for those who are ineligible, be they newer members of our great community, older members who are choosing to not participate on their own, or those who cannot participate for one reason or the other, would be to contact a charitable location near you and donate accordingly in the name of the CGC Chat Boards Holiday Gift Exchange -HJO.

That's okay, it won't be needed until then. Just put TBD (To Be Determined), or something like that, on the form so I know who plans on contributing to the Raffle just in case reminders need to be sent out. -HJO

It will, but it hasn't been setup yet. I have it on good authority that a tentative date for the raffle will be December 28th... but more on that at a later time. -HJO

Smart...I replied too quickly, I think, and didn't quite think it through enough, but oh well It's early enough now that you can alter your submission form if you like. just send a new reply to the PM we are already in with the new form. Please do the entire form again if doing changes and send the info. in a reply to our PM and not a new PM or an edit of the old... sorry for the particulars, but it helps with organization if you do it this way. -HJO

If anyone is having trouble remembering who their Secret Santa was last year, here's a link to the reveal thread from last year to help jar your memory. 2016 Reveal Thread Please do not let a lapse in memory stop you from signing up for this years exchange. Just put "I can't remember" as your answer to that question and let me do the rest. Also, it's okay if you don't have a raffle prize picked out yet to mention on your forms, just don't forget about it. It won't affect your Gift Exchange but will affect your entry into the Raffle. -HJO

I have amended the rules to be a little less exclusionary to active members, like yourself, who signed-up for membership at or around the forum switch this past February. -HJO
