I’d be surprised if they use ANY of the actors / actresses currently in their respective X-Men roles , it’s obvious with the shutdown of the “ multiple man , kitty pride and gambit” movies a full overhaul is in the works . In addition to me being about 95% certain from the previews that “mystique “ will be KIA i concur - Magneto easily my favorite of First Class era team as a side note I felt the supporting characters from the future in the “ days of future past “ movie - “sunspot , blink and bishop” were all very decent

Don’t be bummed , did you have it pressed ? You can ALWAYS flip it for a higher one - there’s no shortage of that issue

Same dude - I LOVED Gambit as a 90’s kid/ teen but his character arc wasn’t really fruitful from what I remember ....

I’m with you on that - I’ve never seen ANY FF movies and don’t plan to ... From all the Galactus cloud things I’ve heard , I didn’t miss much

Jae lee rocks - took me awhile to really appreciate his style , but it’s good ( reverse shading like Mignola a tad) nice strong guy sketch too ... I was happy enough to get Peter David to sign my book

Todd is a very knowledgeable , honest and down to earth comic sage and I appreciate his insight - I bought a much sought after x-men lot from him , including a coveted #1 and couldn’t be happier !

Thanks to all - I sent it out today CGC was in NYC right over the bridge and I sent a bunch of books out including this one - I marked it for resto , press and the works if needed-I’ve wanted this book for about 25 years and am happy to have it either way -the closer to 2 I am - the happier I’ll be

So I finally acquired one of my most sought after books and I couldn’t be happier - my question is really two fold a) what is your assessment of the grade ? b) would it benefit from a press ? now ... there are some slight pen marks around angels leg which doesnt necessarily look like “ restoration “ to me and hopefully is viewed as just doodling , there is a hole punch in the top right corner , a 1.5” tear and there is also some slight water marks around angel but I think the grade is low enough not to be implicated too much by these issues . I was thinking of sending to CCS prior to grading to press / assess as I don’t want to send this is the mail more than once . Lastly , the photo was taken adjacent to a lamp so don’t let the gloss deceive the picture . thanks for any insight - Adam

Ebay is allowing too much deception by taking a “neutral stand “ on things , I understand how the world works and how it ultimately is on the buyer to do their due diligence and read the fine print ..” if it’s too good to be true “...than it damn sure is

I grew up at the end of the silver age so by the time I was reading it was my dad’s leftover eerie , creepys , and war comics , little did I know many years later the time was set for those in the golden age ww2 comics and the amazingly awesome true crime stories ... I’m still a silver / bronze fanboy at heart but have a newfound love for golden age books - many visual thanks to October’s killer thread a few weeks back

Im of the older mindset , SS number is never to be given out , but I find all this to be common knowledge anyways - of all the purchases I’ve made online over the years - I’ve only been hacked at a gas station , besides when I call my bank it asks me to enter my PIN number as a verification - which definitely set off red flags at first

Right on - a lot of marketing but maybe not in the right places ? I’d say package comics with blu rays ( like avengers 1) but who buys blu rays anymore? We live in a world where toys r us went out of business and I used to get comics there , child world , Kay bee ... but I digress I also purchase variants from time to time - but it’s for the art or at least that’s what I tell myself - I guess we all secretly would love to acquire the next wolverine nabisco variant ...

Look at FF48 , still more valued than FF49 and both covers are just as iconic
