    I feel I am in a similar category - basically learned to read with comics in 80s and read / collected heavy to the 90s - got out for a bit but honestly , the movies brought me back - the ability to finally see stories on the screen from my childhood comic adventures was fascinating - I’m still working on full runs and will never have enough “ keys” - I dabble in selling / trading - but much more of a collector

    I submitted 2 in the first week of July ( both for quick press as well as grading) just got them back last week - first week of November so a solid 120 days ?

    Not “okay “ if that makes me “old” as well , then so be it - I buy and sell as well and that’s part of it - once you commit , that’s it - I can’t just get another wife if I have a better offer down the line .... or can I ? ?

    I’ve always been partial to Silver age - I love 70’s clothes , music and cars - so it’s only fair that I prefer those comics as well - the second coming of comics with Marvel’s/ DC’s success in the 60/70’s - Kirby , Adams , Trimpe , Kubert, Steranko, Romita ... it isn’t even a discussion for me .

    I️ think I’m gonna pull the trigger on sending to CCS - they are at a local convention here in Edison NJ this weekend - I’m going there anyway to browse and grab a few signatures anyway ... thanks for all the advice!

    I️went to a con over the summer in NJ and got Captain America / Steve Rogers 1 signed by Greg Hildebrandt - he was signing anything else for free but was charging $50 for the variant cover he did - I’m okay with that because he is only signing 50 total got (26/50) which helps with exclusivity - but $50 although sets me back - it isn’t astronomical

    I’m Adam - comic collecting here and there for most of my life - started with Marvel and branched to DC / Image / Dark Horse in the 90’s . Primarily collect Marvel/ DC silver age forward - fairly heavy reader of TPBs as well and just started sending comics to CGC within the last year

    I’m a huge fan of sinestro and picked this up at a really good price , however there is slight color tough in the bottom right corner ( in green pen?) the dealer let me know of the blemish , so this wasn’t a surprise . The pen ( or marker ) DOESN’T bleed through , would you recommend me sending it to CCS for renovation repairs ? Any positive or negative experiences ? Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks
