  1. darn near any Torchy panel is nice, but I like this one: (how long before you noticed the alligators?)
  2. I'm even later, but the party won't be over for at least 18 years! Congrats (thumbs u
  3. great book. those St. John funny animal giants are fun to collect. There are at least 18 of them 100 pages or bigger.
  4. That's only the second copy of this book remember seeing. Do you have the Funnybone?
  5. Likely to be a Bell Features canadian reprint. Can you give us an idea of the interiors? Sadly, no online exhaustive listing / resources of the Bell books and since it's Canadian, this wouldn't be covered in OSPG. Bell is a good guess since the cover art looks like it's from an interior splash page (especially since it does not fit the layout of the cover, with all the empty space around the title). I just noticed it's an L.B. Cole cover, which is cool. The cover is from Criminals on the Run v4#3 from Novelty Press (Oct/Nov '48). That's Young King Cole on the alphorn.
  6. To prove I'm not in it for the money, this is the kinda stuff I've been buying lately:
  7. well done, pons. man, you are getting some choice stuff lately. you knew I'd love the Quality keys that you've been posting, but this is my favorite of your recent acquisitions (thumbs u
  8. it's not gordon. without pulling my reference files I'd say bradbury.
  9. even when you collect "any condition" books you wind up with a few that aren't stinkers. not many, but a few. and this was probably the first copy that came up for sale while I was looking.
  10. Dan Gordon on the farmer and chickens. Who on Moronica?
